"The Women rookies with Average Ratings in red do not yet have the minimum five events needed by the end of the year to qualify as finalists. So they need to play well in qualifying events the rest of the year to keep up with Haley Konrad who is technically in the lead right now. All of the other players in the four tables already have the minimum number of events needed. They can still improve their Average Rating if late season events are better than ones already included. "

I just checked out the extended list for player of the year and it appears to not count the Pro Worlds. It lists your 7 best events B-tier and higher with at least two NT/Majors but nobody gets pro worlds as one of their events. It also does not count some of my better B-tiers most notably my 1047 avg. at Aloha Sushi, maybe that is because it was only two rounds, but they are 29 hole rounds so it should still count IMO.

Upon further inspection it looks like maybe the Worlds is just automatically included into everyone's ranking. That eases my mind somewhat.

Nate, read the details of the process. Worlds rating is a separate important factor used only for the fianl ranking of the 7 POY and 6 ROY finalists, but not to become a finalist. If Aloha Sushi was a B-tier with more than 54 holes total, it could be included. I'll check with Roger.

Thanks for looking into that for me Chuck, it would never be enough to get me into the top 7 finalists anyways, but it was a B-tier with 58 holes if I remember correctly.
