  • Advice for starting disc golf club

Hello all! One of my friends and I are thinking of starting a disc golf club/team thing at my high school. We were going to make a video about disc golf and how a lot of people like the sport. Any advice for getting this thing started? Thanks!

Make some fliers, spread the word, set a practice schedule and have fun with it. Good luck!

the PDGA has an excellent promotional video that you could probably use if you ask them. they showed it at just about every commercial break during the live streaming of the USDGC. that would be good to show the advisors that might be responsible for the overseeing of the club.

have a great time and dont let a couple "no's" get in your way, keep going and trying even if you come up against some people that dont understand.

From what I remember if you have people and a teacher or person to supervise you have a club. Talk to someone inthe front office and they will probably point you in the right direction.

Check out the E.D.G.E (Educational Disc Golf Experience) program from the PDGA.

This is the third time in a week that I've seen/heard people looking to start up such a club at their schools. Awesome.
