Is it expected that this conference will be annually held at the beginning of May each year? (year to year, this one happens to be on WBDGWeekend)
Would it ever be held at other locations Selah (Central) , Monterrey(West) ,etc?

No specific plans for the future at this point. Depends on the turnout and demand. We are going to video the event, hope to make some of those available and potentially take the show on the road. But it will have to be self financing since no promises of financial support from the PDGA.

Would be really interested in going to this but being on the East Coast it's just not possible.

Anyone think there is enough interest in this kind of get together to self organize one (outside of the PDGA) for the PNW?
Informal weekend, say... in Portland area? Open invitations and someone puts together a meet up/discussion agenda of hot topics, regional topics?

Grassroots style? plus play some golf somewhere. Hey maybe do it one or two years and Chuck might bring his group to us.

Hey, maybe at Hornings and everyone camps or something.

Sounds like a good idea. There are five members of the DGCD group in Oregon and Washington plus a few in Idaho and British Columbia that might be willing to help put together a design discussion. (John Conte, Keith Lionetti, Brad Huggins, Robert Chard, Ryan Lane, Jon Lyksett and Walter Bekker, Daniel Laitsch.) I'd even be able to participate if you thought it would be worthwhile to do it the day or two after Worlds.

Just for reference, the CD Conference is a DGCD production at the IDGC with some PDGA financial support. The PDGA adopts some of the DGCD design publications as a basis for their standards, but the DGCD has always been a separate entity.
