Signed and re-posted on other disc spaces! This would mean there's a great big ole disc loop from Portland south to Corvallis, west to Philomath, Toledo, then North to Lincoln City, east up 99 or way North and then east along 20 and hit the westside courses of your choice on the way back in.

Starting in Portland- Pier, Hornings, Stub Steward, Lincoln City, Wilder (Newport), new Toledo course, Mary's River (Philomath), Willamette, Adair, Cascade Gateway, Ewing, Champoeg, Lunchtime... there's an itinerary.

Tillamook needs to step up and close the loop for real.

Have you guys talked to the Ford Foundation based in Roseburg, they helped build the Newport DGC... Also the Chamber of Commerce might be helpful. If you need help writing a formal proposal I can help with that.

Not to be discouraging, on the contrary. But I did the same type of Change.org petition for another DGC in the valley but it stalled out at about 200 signatures relying on disc golfers. If you want to get peopleís attention youíll need 3k-10,000 or more signatures on a petition. Iíll volunteer myself to walk the line at the next Seafood and Wine festival and gather signatures from the 15,000 attendees waiting to get in to the festival.

Just heard that Waldport has an "Open Spaces" project going on and they are looking for ideas. Anyone in Waldport? Having courses in Lincoln City, Newport, Toledo, Philomath, Corvalis, AND Waldport would certainly change the disc golf culture in the area.

The more near or on the coast the better! To join the club, all we have right now is a Facebook group. Lincoln City Disc Golf Club... As Newport is the only somewhat local course, I like to get down there as much as possible to play and make sure L.C. folks start playing more (Especially on Sundays at 11am for league).
