  • Tool to get discs out of trees?

    Are there any?

I dont like hunting for sticks and/or the perfect rock to throw, and I really dont like to give up my disc, what do other people use?

Lol I watched a guy loose his shoes in a tree one time trying to get his disc back... poor guy

I found a softball in a tree at Seatac, wedged in the armpit of a bunch of branches... I figured someone was using it to retrieve their disc from the same tree I lost mine in. There was no name or number on the softball, so I stuck it in my bag. I've been carrying it around ever since, and it's come in handy at least half a dozen times over the past 9 months.

a wrist rocket sling shot, the folding kind so it fits in the pocket of your bag. Save your arm for throwing discs.

              Tree tool.

              Slingshot and a golf ball.
TC Bare carries them and never takes more than 2 shots to knock a disc out of anything.

Guy here in town that took 3 pool pole nets that you used to scoop garbage from your pool and connected them together and leaves it in the back of his toyota. Hes always at glenwood every time i go and he gets 2-3 discs at a time. He said its over 65 feet of extention.

I have seen the sling shot in action and it works very well. IMHO it is the most effective way I have ever seen to get a disc out of a tree. Even when they are way up there.
