  • Milo's New Tee Pads Work Party!! - 4/12 & 4/19

    Work party 1 and 2

Sunday April 12th @ 10am in the west parking lot.

The plan is to build the forms for the 9-10 tee pads.
Parks dept. is digging the tee pad locations.
Anchor multiple tee post locations with concrete.

Sunday April 19th @ 10am in the west parking lot.

Delivered concrete will need to be transported via wheel barrel to certain tee pad locations.

Thanks goes out to Lee Smith of Black Dog Construction for donating the forms!

See you there! huhuhuhuhuh tee pads

Different Jeff, but I can still answer ya.

We're pouring pads for the permanent 27 hole course. Wherever there were rubber pads there will now be concrete. Since I still don't recognize the idiocy that is the 18E and 9W layouts, I'll just go based on the 27 hole course we all know and love.

      New Teepads at:
      Hole 5 Pro & Am
      Hole 6 Pro & Am
      Hole 7 Pro & Am
      13 Pro
      21 Am
      24 Pro

and perhaps one one more... if we can get concrete to the Genius pad.

        Good going Mittl,

You're really getting Milo in shape. Thank you for all your hard work. I should be at the work party this weekend. But, I'll be traveling for work during the second one.

What happens to the existing pads that used to or are still there at some of those holes like holes 5-7? New tee pads are ok at Milo, but new anchors looks so sweet to my eyes *not my ears, ya know why*
          Anchors for what holes?
As for the genius hole, PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT, to get that cement up there, although there already is a decent pad up there?

I've heard that the idea is to have to pin positions and two tee pads for each hole...an AM pad and a PRO pad.

And the genius hole's pad is only "decent" when it's dry out.

Did anyone else from the latest work party get into some Poison Oak? I've got a scratch on my leg that's starting to flair up and a spot on my elbow that's doing the same. I'm afraid that by the end of the GNWO I'm going to be dealing with a full case of it. The only spot that I can think of that I could have gotten into it would be "The Genius Hole". Taking those wheel barrell's up the hill might have been tracking through a fresh patch. I hope I'm wrong!

Shoot I hope it's not ture Jason. I was there on Monday I have three bumps on my leg that I thought were bug bites, but now I am thinking it is oak. Hopefully not.

                          Jason,

I was all over the Genius hole and I am not showing an outbreak, I am not immune to the poison oak either so maybe I just lucked out.
