    I am sorry...

I like the suggestion about Milo, but that is what we will already be doing in a few weeks when OTDG stops there on its regularly scheduled event: 1/15-16/2011 Week #7 - [Milo] 8a Captains Set Lineups 8:30a Start

The main reason I added N Bonne back is to keep the courses that we play fresh. I do not want to play the same course with the same layouts twice in one season. The fact that we already play Milo for the championships and once in the regular season should be enough for that park.

Maybe I am just spoiled by the plethora of fun courses that we have to choose from in our area to want to play the same course twice in one season...

Hath this whole world been mired in madness?
Remain ye men of faculty complete,
Of full arithmetic and prudence fair,
Attending to our noble bond and contract?
Or does here stand the last remaining man
To give a fig for rules and order yet,
No noble savage, but a stave unbroken
Who loves the law and bids it no misdeed.
Iíll not be bent to lawlessness. Mark it nought, if we be men of honour.

no begging needed we have known each other a long time

as for adding N.B. into the mix that is your call, hopefully the flooded fairways will be frozen over, well maybe....

i agree we are a spoiled bunch of Hukker's here so many courses to choose from.

        You ladies rock!

Happy & Merry to one and all! And we'll see everybody out at North Bonneville in the New Year!

I would love to get involved in team golf, well once I polish the untapped skills. 8) Just wait i'm gonna rock it.

Jody and I for one love that we get to play N.Bonn. So much closer for us and we have played that course before.

But I was just curious why NB is considered so much more dangerous than Timber. I feel they both have the same amount of cross over traffic, in my limited opinion Timber actually felt more dangerous to me than NB ever has. Just looking for some clarification on the dangers at NB.

          Don't forget your rubber boots!

          PS
Hope I did not screw up the English language two bad.

            The course debate is dead.

What we should be discussing is how to punish teams that don't represent. I think the Capt should take the heat, they put together the team. I mean if Vaptor Trails can show week after week while taking beatings like no other then there really is no excuse for everyone else.

How about if your team fails to represent a full card two or three weeks outta of the year then you're not allowed to capt a team the next year?

You bring up a very big point. As of this year, I can see no way to increase the size of OTDG. We have 10 teams playing on each day, and that is the max without going to playing every event at a place like Milo or Hornings where there is more than one course or more than 18 holes to play.

In the years that I have been running this fiasco, we have always had 1 team that does not return the next year. But each of those following years we have also increased the number of teams that played the next year. Next year we will not have that luxury.

The way that I have structured the league gives all of the power to the team captains and we have luckily been able to find enough captains to field teams each year. But what happens next year? I have always operated on the belief that returning captains get the first crack at coming back each year. But maybe we need to discuss a new method of setting up the league for next year.

I know of two new teams that would like to participate next year.

Attendance has always been a better indicator of OTDG spirit then standings. It does seem unfair to those that do participate to have to sit-out simply because another team doesn't represent.

The challenge is really how to monitor attendance.

                              Has anybody played there lately?
When I was there a month and a half ago, a few of the slippery places that were dirt tees had recently had concrete tee pads poured. Hole 4 was getting ready to be poured.
Anyways, it will be better than last year, tee pad wise.
