Wow, you have an actual name for it. Its the most confusing 20 acres in the greater Seattle area.
How can the wind come from the southwest near the south end , and come from the northeast in the other corner, at the same time ?

And just where is the swirl going ?

I can remember at least three times that Frank Lewis got Cali. Two Franks. What are the odds of that?

Much less likely than it would be in Paris, or on a grill.
Don't just walk past that candy wrapper on the fairway-- I know you saw it!

                Thank you for asking, Snooksie!
We had 17 throwers show up yesterday. Because Tall Chief is dead in the water, I made some executive decisions regarding the entry fees and Ace Pot. I decided to roll the $10 I had collected for the Tall Chief fund into the other $10 of the Ace Pot. I decided to still charge $7.00 for with $5 going to payout, $1 going to the Ace Pot and then bring back the old Juel Doubles tradition of having two CTP and/or long putt holes.
                So......
Winning score with -13 was shot Kenny Clark and newbie Jeremy. They split $50.00
at -12 was KBK and Wes, pocketing $25.00
Billy Clark and Kevin C took 3rd and split $10.00

Some people bitched about a 3rd place payout. Deal with it.

Juel always attracts plenty of Newbies. I like to see them be encouraged to come out.

Speaking of Newbies, Reluctant Cali Josh won $8.50 for his long putt on hole 6

Kevin Christian sweated as he watched Kenny Clark come within one inch of his CTP shot on the 374' hole 14. The tape measure was called in. Kevin had put his forehand 10' 10" from the pin. Kenny's was 10' 11" away. Kevin pocketed $8.50

$37.00 was rolled into next week's Ace Pot. We should have no problem breaking the $50.00 mark.

What's the story on that? Last I heard things were looking promising?

Thirteen bold folfers showed up at a soggier Juel yesterday for our weekly doubles bout.
Paul and Rob shot a solid -14 to grab first place and the $45.00 prize. KBK and MBG shot a pedestrian -12 to pocket $20.00.
Wes was the Long Putt winner with a good putt on #13 and Rob's drive on #17 withstood a late challenge by MBG to take CTP honors. Wes and Rob each won $6.50

The Ace Pot rolls over and stands at an even $50.00

                        See you next week!

A little too late for me to go now as it's 4:30 and Juel is 45 minutes away.
