I'm trying to decide if I should make the trip up to Spokane again for the LCO. I see alot of info about fundraisers but not much info about the LCO itself. Somebody tell me some good reasons to come back to Spokane!
Somebody tell me some good reasons to come back to Spokane!
Because Spokane's up and coming craft beer scene is starting to get really awesome and with you being from one of the best beer producing states in the US I am sure you would like to experience what other areas have to offer. Downtown is becoming the brewery district for sure and it's awesome to see. You should come check it out and you might as well sign up to play LCO while your at it
All changes for the LCO are finished. The courses will be open for practice this afternoon and tomorrow. On Thursday and Friday it will be a little later and I'll update. Sat. and Sunday will be open by 10:00. Next week the courses will be available every day and I'll update those times .
Car fee still only $5. Carpool and save. Helpers, whackers, tampers and stick collectors freeeeeeee. Here's one for the Moose
I am making my yearly kudos and plea to the considerate smokers and the oblivious smokers. With the possible smoking ban at FourMound for the LCO it will be even more difficult for folks to take care of their needs.
I'm still asking that regardless of where you may be allowed to smoke, you PLEASE consider how your smoke effects others who are extremely sensitive to it.
If you are allowed to smoke at tourney central, please don't stand up at the score table and smoke.
If (and it is highly doubtful with the dry conditions) you are allowed to smoke with your butt on a bench at the tee box, please make sure you are not keeping someone in your group from preparing for their shot due to your smoke.
I realize a majority of players smoke and most of them are very kind and considerate people. I also feel like the others are not malicious...it just doesn't occur to them their smoke could be harmful to people near them.
There's free firewood for the campers!..........Courses will be available by 3:00 today and tomorrow and by 10:00 both Sat. and Sunday. If you don't see me when you come in, don't worry, I'm out there somewhere......There's 10 more fresh cut pads to take out so the place will be nearly all tricked out.
