I share the same sentiment and agree with the idea of 'less thunder in the mouth, more lightning in the hand', but the number of people that have donated a great deal of time and resources to the local disc golf community is much greater than you must realize... what has been lacking is any sort of organization.

Tim and Andrew are both great guys that are eager to help the sport progress in this area. I am confident that they are each going to do a fine job spearheading the efforts strengthen the 'club'. I am excited to see things progress!!
Avatar changed, sorry about that. I understand plenty of the work that has gone on over the years, I could talk about all of the work I have done as well, just because you don't see me at every single tournament during the year doesn't mean I don't do anything either, even us "casual" players go to work parties and the sort.

With Lowell's health taking a turn for the worse recently, Aaron Holley, Frank Lewis, and I will be working together to run this tournament. I encourage anybody in the area to come out and play in this tournament. Not only should it be a good time, but you'll also be getting yourself a free membership to the soon-to-be-revitalized Seattle DGC. Trust me, it'll be better than sitting on your couch, watching football and gettin' round!

$25 for pro, $20 for advanced, $15 for intermediate. We'll have to talk to Lowell to see what proportion is going to payout, ace pot, club money, etc.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the club! We had nice autumn weather today, if a little on the breezy side. Good turnout though, 40 people, which I think was just about the max North Park could handle...and about all Terrace could handle too for that matter, with all the other casuals and park users. Without further ado, here are the scores:

                    Open Men:
                    1. Aaron Holley: 49 50 99

                    3. Kenny Clark: 58 53 111
                    4. Neil Bishop: 58 55 113
                    5. Andrew Rivers: 53 62 115
                    6. Jon Wills: 57 63 120

I wanted to also say thanks to Tim and Aaron too. I had a lot of fun and realize I have a lot of work to do before 666.

You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy.
