Thanks to everyone who came out & made it a great day,

Nice pics, but do my eyes deceive me or are the tees natural at North Bonneville? The shelter looks great but I don't think that the course would work too well for Team Disc Golf in the winter with natural tees. Is there a plan to put down cement this year or next? Thanks!

<---- didn't click the link (back at ya!)
ďI believe I can hit 18 greens, hit every fairway, you know ó Vision 54, which means you birdie every hole, thatís in the back of my mind. I want to putt better, chip better. That day when I hit 18 greens and one putt, Iíll know Iím a complete golfer. Will that ever happen? Iím not sure, but itís possible. The 54 vision is always in the back of my mind.Ē

        Yes, they're grass/dirt.

Sounds like Sorosis again this year. Sweet! Love that course!

If we got Big Winds, we get Sorosis no matter what the tee surface is. I am glad that you guys upgraded to cement tees, I can't wait to play it!

I talked to Victor on Sunday and he said the Boy Scouts put the pads in. They are smaller than normal but they ARE concrete. Can't wait to play um!

We're working to get concrete pads in North Bonn but don't have a time frame yet.

We're thinking about starting a weekly doubles series on Sundays with a $4 buy-in to help raise funds. $2 would go into the pot, $1 to concrete fund & $1 to a rollover ace pot.

Everyone is welcome to check our site, www.nbdga.org , if interested.

Why not throw a tourney that half of the entry goes towards tee pads if you were able to get 60 for your last tourney I believe you could do that or even better if the weekend was planned for no other tourneys being played. I know that I wouldn't mind dropping 20 on a great cause.

We're working on holding a second tourney, but in the near term we're going to start our doubles this Sunday at 6pm. We're going to go with a $3 buy-in (rather than $4) with $1 going into the pot, $1 into the ace pot, which will carry over, and $1 into our tee pad fund.

We welcome everybody & anybody to come out this Sunday & help us get our doubles started off right.

We're also thinking about putting together a mixed-doubles on a fairly regular basis & would like to hear feedback from the disc golfing community. We're not sure if it would be best to require mixed couples to come out together & then shuffle them with a draw or allow singles too & try to figure out what to do with any leftovers when the mixing is done. Ideas?

Random draw doubles. If there is an odd man (or woman) out, they play Cali where they get one extra shot per hole.

Good suggestion, Sam, although we were thinking more along the lines of requiring one of the guys in the pairs without a gal to wear a dress while playing. We can pick up some stunning prom dresses at the local thrift store & really perk things up on the course.

It might also encourage more guys to bring a gal along.
