    LET’S PLAY! Sports and Fitness Fest is a two-day event hosted by Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Commission and the Tacoma Children's Museum for the purpose of bringing people together through sports. Let's Play! also partners with MultiCare Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Fleet Feet Sports and the YMCA to bring this one of a kind event to Tacoma that will be filled with opportunities for kids and adults to participate, educate, and compete in a variety of recreational sports, all in one place!

    What Will Be Happening?

    Tournaments – We’ll have spectator tournaments as well as open participation tournaments in basketball, gymnastics, fencing, sport stacking and more that attendees can sign up to compete in.

    Clinics / Health & Wellness – A series of FREE sports and fitness clinics will be presented by coaches, players, organizers of youth sports plus health and wellness activities such as yoga, Zumba and CrossFit taking place throughout both days of the event.

    Demonstrations/Participation – Throughout the entire event, clubs and organizations will be hosting demonstrations of their various sport or fitness activities. Watch samplings of rugby, roller derby, karate, gymnastics and others. Many will offer open participation for the crowd to partake in as well.

    Entertainment – Lots of other entertainment is in the works that will include live music, special appearances by the Tacoma Rainier's Rhubarb, the Seahawks' Blue Thunder Drum line and more. Younger kids will enjoy music by the Recess Monkeys, rock wall climbing, t-ball, bounce house and other fun activities suited for their age and abilities.
