  • Northwest Collegiate Invitational - March 10th-11th, 2012

    Oregon State University Presents:

    the Northwest Collegiate Invitational
    March 10-11, 2012 Estacada, Oregon
An Official National Disc Golf Championships Qualifying Event

    Event
Welcome to the NW Collegiate Invitational! We, the Oregon State University Disc Golf Club, are inviting you to bring your team to the world famous Riverbend DGC @ Milo McIver State Park in Estacada, OR. The course will be in the 36-hole layout of the Beaver State Fling, PDGA Elite Series Tour Event, and is now host the the first collegiate qualifying event in the Northwest.
This is a PDGA event, sanctioned under the Competition Endowment Program as a developmental event. This means that any non-member players would only be asked for a $5 non-member fee, as opposed to a $10. We’ve worked hard to bring this event into reality this year and increase the West Coast presence at Nationals.
To collegiate women disc golfers: We welcome you to come compete as part of a 4 person team from your school or as an individual collegiate woman. We are running a Women’s Individual event side by side with the team event. We are trying to build female presence in collegiate disc golf and hope that one day full women’s teams will be competing at nationals instead of solely as individuals. Pricing info for an individual attendee is explained below. The women’s individual event does not contribute to your schools overall team score. There are three rounds total for the women’s event, one on day 1 and two on day 2.

    Elegibility
Please visit NCDGC - elegibility page for an explanation of rules on eligibility and student status.
We have availability for 18 collegiate teams of four and 72 individual collegiate women.

    Team Format
Day 1: One round of Alternating Shot Team Doubles with lunch served after. One team score for round.
Day 2: Two rounds of Singles for all four players, top three scores count for each round. Lunch will be served between the two individual rounds. Awards(team, and individual men’s and women’s).

    Entry Fee’s
    $175 per team includes:
    Course Fees & PDGA fees
Camping Accomodations for 2 nights (this covers camping for 5, in case of coach)
1 vehicle (each additional vehicle is $5 to the park, day of the event)
Lunch for each player each day
    Players Packs for each player

    Deadline and Etc.’s
