The "Frosty Ironman One Disc Challenge" at Cascades Gateway Park is next Sunday.

Joe has been working hard to get prizes for a raffle. He has picked up prizes from Salem, Keizer, and Portland!
The money raised on the raffle will go towards finishing Keizer Rapids Disc Golf Course.
Kyle the Sausage Guy will be there cookin up his famous dogs for lunch.

Of course free Hot Chocolate will be available and hand warmers can be purchased for a buck. Don't miss out on this frosty fun day!

                      disapointed.

Not sure how i feel about the tournament yesterday. I played well with no other outcome but being completely left off the final standings.Would have taken 2nd in masters(the division i signed up in), or 5th in the general division. My name and scores were recorded in neither. I understand mistakes occur, but that was a biggie.

First of all contrary to the above post I was not the TD of this Tourney but I was involved with the raffle prizes and trophies. To defend the TD Chris W. I do know that Whalekillah was overly compensated with some discs and He did walk away with quite a bit of swag from the raffle. I think most of the people that came had a good time and we did manage to raise some money to complete the course at Keizer Rapids Park.

                              Sorry, I saw this

                              "Java Joe is the TD.

                              Frosty Ironman One Disc Challenge
                              Cascade Gateway DGC, Salem, OR
                              11 December 2011 9am"

And this: your title on discgolfscene... "T.D. Frosty Ironman"

Anyway, I wasnt a player in this tournament, but to defend someone who was: "overly compensated"? With 2 discs? I thought he was supposed to win $40 cash? And place 2nd in masters? I could be wrong.
But also no recognition? No attempt to fix the problem? Just a sorry dude, "it's an imperfect world"...

And, he paid for the raffle tickets that helped to "raise some money to complete the course at Keizer Rapids Park." No?
Maybe a little more "over compensation" is in order?

Could you ask the "TD" who WAS awarded the 2nd place prize? And if the results will be posted anywhere?
