  • DGOD Presents... Oct. 29th. The Children of the Course! A Halloween Extravaganza!

What: The Children of the Course - A Halloween Extravaganza!
Where: Lunchtime Disc Golf Course and Student Center
    When: 12pm
    Price: $12

30 holes straight at Lunchtime DGC - 15 from the long tees and 15 "modified" from the short tees. If you played the Derby, you have SOME idea of what we have in store for you.

We will then have a long break where we will have all kinds of games and contests - including a pumpkin carving contest and a costume contest! More details to come as we get closer.

Food included. We like to eat and we like to eat well. Count on it.

Then, as it gets dark, we will play a spooky round of glow golf. Be prepared for anything and everything.

Online registration coming soon - or see Dan or myself.
ďI believe I can hit 18 greens, hit every fairway, you know ó Vision 54, which means you birdie every hole, thatís in the back of my mind. I want to putt better, chip better. That day when I hit 18 greens and one putt, Iíll know Iím a complete golfer. Will that ever happen? Iím not sure, but itís possible. The 54 vision is always in the back of my mind.Ē

Sounds like fun times. I need some lights and punch a couple night discs. Does anyone carry some locally?

Don't worry... we'll still have a good time up here while you're having a good time down there.

With the right lights, you can use ANY disc. DGOD usually has very affordable and effective light kits ($1). You tape an LED to a coin cell battery, and tape that to your disc. I have some SuperBright kits, but they are more spendy ($5).

There are numerous other night disc solutions as well. That is a whole other thread. It's probably an active topic on PDGA and DGCR forums, too.

Hey Gawain, I played with u the 2nd round at Adair a month ago. I got one of those Hole in 1 lights today for $8. But I had to punch a disc for it (oh well)
Thanks for the info, hopefully we'll cross paths again. Had a blast playing with ya last time

Scrip for this event will be done by Tree Loves own "Sweet Plastic" Booth, and the "Sausage guy pro shop". Both will be set up onsite to take scrip and sell Discs!
Big thanks to Gawain and Tim!
