My question would be, though... why is a 923 player playing ADVANCED Masters? Shouldn't he be playing Intermediate? And why are we not encouraging Tom Dooley to play MA3? Or David Moore to play Intermediate? Why is Kim Smothers not playing Rec Women?
Sam, don't get to worked up just yet. Wait till after a Novice player, playing UP, in the Rec division, whoops up on Scott and Kent. Someone say like, oh maybe ME. I'm going to take them both down like the little sissies they are. The Slosh at Timber is where school is in session. A lesson in tournament play WILL be taught.

Did you just call Scott a Sissy?

As per Sam's emperical comments, PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT. I fart in your general direction.

Sorry, I really don't mind his opinion, I was just dying for an opportunity to use that response.

Oh and Kim signed up for MA2 because she shares Sam's opinion about playing up. She obviously wears the pants in this marriage. Ain't that a Pip? (i think that means Picture in Picture?)

Wow - big words for a guy who couldn't come to work today (where I could turn around and smack him).

Actually, I don't believe that the only way to get better at DG is to play with better players. There is also this thing called practice where you go and putt for an hour rather than play Orchard 4 times.

That said, most people play to the level of the people they play with. Want to be a Rec player? Play Rec. Want to learn some stuff and see some better golf? Play up - not down.

The competition thing is a valid point. But winning Rec is like arguing on the internet, really...
ďI believe I can hit 18 greens, hit every fairway, you know ó Vision 54, which means you birdie every hole, thatís in the back of my mind. I want to putt better, chip better. That day when I hit 18 greens and one putt, Iíll know Iím a complete golfer. Will that ever happen? Iím not sure, but itís possible. The 54 vision is always in the back of my mind.Ē

Funny you should mention that. I haven't been to Orchard for a couple of months, but I'm out working on my backhand in the field next to my office every day during lunch and after work (when I can leave before it gets dark).

Scott, that will get you out of the Rec Room and upstairs pretty quick, actually. Don't forget putting. Don't have a basket? Get a broom handle and stick it in the ground.

How am I supposed to get the broom handle up there when my head is occupying the majority of that space?
