  • OB question

ok, so i know the road is OB, but is the stripe of dirt between the jersey barriers and the road, and the jersey barriers themselves on holes 19 and 20 OB? this has come up a lot in play.
some people play the barrier line, some play just the pavement and beyond.
    advice?

oh and Jerry recently mentioned a mando on what is now hole 4, the tree stump on the right-- its hard to envision how to play the tree as a mando left, since the tree isnt there anymore. advice?

on 19 and 20, i think it's just the pavement and beyond. gravel is okay. (not 100% sure, though.)

as for hole 4, the mando tree isn't the stump- it's the right-most tall one down by the basket. you should be able to see a ribbon or a paint line around it. it's to keep discs out of the fairway on hole 8, and away from people on the bench/pad on hole 8.

if you don't realize there's a mando there, it's common to just crank a bomb around that tree and come in to the basket from the right, and the mando is designed to safely take that shot away.

That is correct about the road/gravel.

As for the mando when the tree was still there it was the mando then you would have gone ob when you crossed the fence.

When the tree fell the mando was moved to where the tree on the right closest to the fence line was made the mando to keep players safe coming down the fairway/road on hole 8.
