But we can just play in the benefit, and thereby get to play both courses, right? Do we need to bring a partner?
***Tournament events will be as follows:
~Doubles Best Disc on the Long course Cost $40 per team there will be 2 divisions for this event. Recreation/Intermediate and Advanced/Open.
~We will also be holding a “first timer” tournament on the short course. Cost $20 per person. This event is reserved for those who have never played, or who have just started the sport and wish to participate in a fun and relaxed event. For the short course your entry fee will include 1 putt and approach disc so there is no need to purchase equipment if you do not have your own.
***Schedule: Check in 8:30-9:30 Players meeting 9:30-9:45
First Round:10:00 Lunch: 1 break hour following the first round
Second Round: Following Lunch Prizes and closing to follow second round
***Payout will be in the form of prizes for the top 3 finishes on each division. All Entry fee Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.
***We will also accept donations and will be holding a silent auction for items both related to disc golf and not at Horning’s on the day of the tournament. Bidding will open at the beginning of the first round, and close a few minutes prior to the end the event. Announcements for winners of the tournament and the auction will be named. Non players are welcome to attend the event as well to join in the fun and fundraising.
***There will be at least one food option available for purchase during the lunch break. Please bring cash as there is a good chance credit cards will not be accepted.
***Registration in advance is required, and check in will be from 8:30-9:30 am. Tournament directors can not guarantee a spot if you do not pre-register and it’s a long drive out to Horning’s.
