  • Improvements here (new restrooms) and more coming, along with a small change in fees.

    Hey all,
Just opened up the new flush toilet restrooms that are located by Tee Pad #1 on the Canyon Course. The insides look like the photo attached, tiled and very nice, so no more porta-potties for folks! I know the ladies have been really looking forward to these, can't blame them!

Also next week will get started on the cement footings for a shower building, so for those camping by mid summer you should be able to take a shower!

Will also be installing in a couple of weeks a charcoal BBQ grill by Tee Pad #1 on the Canyon Course that will be for Disc Golfers only, not for general public. We are trying to make the Tee Pad #1 area sort of a Disc Golf central.

Also in a couple weeks we will be dedicating ourselves to finally pour the cement tee pads on the Highlands course.

Those are the improvements that have happened or that we have coming soon, though we have much more planned for this fall and next year.

As far as our fee structure goes, we have had an entrance fee of $3 per person long before we have ever had Disc Golf here (over 10 years). We have done our best to keep the fees low so we can be affordable to everyone. I finally am going to raise them as of the beginning of April, though only up to $4 per person. Camping fees will also change, from $5 to $6 per person. We hope that this will not be the cause of anyone turning away, and hope that you all see the value that we are trying to bring everyone.

    Thanks!
    Bob

Great news all around. Love the improvements we've seen at HH over the years.

One request - can we please have the pads on Highlands bigger than the ones that are on holes 1-3?

Scott, yes we will be enlarging the pads on the Highlands, the small ones were an experiment to see if they would be OK for the shorter throws. We seem to have found that the tee pads are wide enough, just not quite long enough, so we will be adding a few feet to give an extra step. We will also take out the three that are there and re-do those. Input? Sounds about right?

We appreciate the improvements, Bob. Completely reasonable fees that you obviously are putting back in to the courses. See you soon!

I thought you already had 54 BBQ grills installed throughout the property. You mean that's not what those yellow things are?!
