So what's the deal with camping for this event? I see there's a group campsite on the road down to the course. Any chance it's like the Fling where we can camp wherever next to the course?

My guess is no chance, but I am not the TD. We have never been able to camp next to the course for the Hab Rec though.

Sally,

It is a 1-day event on that Saturday. No camping for the event, although I believe McIver's campground is available for reservations.

We camped last year in the campground as walk-ins and there was plenty of sites to choose from. It's late in the season and kids are back in school so its pretty clear.

It is odd, Sam, that anyone (including you) could have gone on the red flight wait list as of 8/15 3:22pm according to when that link was posted and made public (which was shortly after anyone could have registered for the "last spot" and someone did post about it on 8/15 at 2:48pm); and that some people did go on the wait list shortly thereafter; and that you went on the wait list the next day almost 24 hours later on 8/16 at 2:02pm; and that you think that that is odd.

Best tourney of the year!! Thanx again in advance to all the great people who put this together each and every year. And to the players who embody it, providing the most spirit of comradery an event can hold. Its a pleasure and an honor, and im gettin liquored up this year:chug: Well, as much as I can hold anyway. :puke: To those not attending, sorry in advance as well....

I am a giant dork who should really pay attention to the times I post. What is odd is my particular lack of attention on this matter and nothing else. Many apologies for being moronic. Sorry.

Just to be clear, camping is not associated with this 1-day event. If you're interested in camping on your own at McIver, you can inquire with the park regarding their campground.

Hey thanks everyone -- glad you made it out to Milo on Saturday. What a day!

I'm working on compiling scores and posting them. They should be ready soon.

All 36 baskets are currently in as far as I know, but I'm not sure for how much longer. Eventually (fairly soon) there will be the 18-hole winter course in play, which will include some of the tournament holes.

Here is the link to the scores and results for the 2012 Hab/Rec:

Many thanks to Ryan Gwillim and Steve Carson at 4DiscGolf.com for administering the online registration again this year. And thanks to them for posting these scores for all of us.

If anyone out there is a TD and hasn't used 4DiscGolf for online registration, I would highly recommend looking into it. They do a great job, and they make life easier for a TD.

...Milo will be going from 36 baskets to 18 baskets for the winter this coming Sunday afternoon, so enjoy 36 while you can!

...Several lost and found discs from the tourney. I will leave them at lost and found at the ranger office at Milo on Sunday.
