View Full Version : Stumptown Work Party @ Milo Sunday March 29th

Ok, this is it! The last work party before our April work parties that will consist of building tee pad forms and then pouring those add'l pads.
This is a Stumptown W.P. with lunch provided.

To do's:

Hole 3W hillside, gravel trail and build steps at the bottom of trail.
Spreading of chips and dirt around tee pads and throughout course as needed.
Cementing of tee posts.

Come out and help prepare Riverbend for the upcoming Beaver State Fling!

Damn... wish this wasn't on a day coinciding with an event I have already signed up for. I was out there yesterday and ecstatic with the work done on the 2/3/9/27 hill. Awesome.

Beaver State Fling Fundraiser Discs will be available at the work party this Sunday.

Come one come all and help improve River Bend Disc Golf course and support a great event.

Saweet. What discs will be available? Just want to make sure I bring enough loot in case I want a couple. Erika, Zion, and I are looking forward to making it out to the work party.

:laughing: I have a plastic purchasing problem. I'm gonna love those glow orcs and eagles. And I can't get a hold of enough Ontario rocs.

Hey how did you guess that, amazing!! Actually these prices are correct and were set by the BSF sales team so that the handling of change would be easy, but there is also a $2 per disc discount if you buy more than 5 discs.

So if you want a disc have your people contact our people and we can work something out.

But first and foremost lets get out to Milo and earn those new concrete tee pads that will be going in the ground in April!!!! Parks is putting up like $1500 for the tee pads and hardware, can I get an Amen!!!!

I would like to thank all the volunteers and Ranger Rick for their hard work on Sunday at Milo McIver S.P.

We spread a huge amount of chips on the majority of the course around the benches, pins, and tee pads. Also, pin greens were mowed and cleaned of all grass clippings. Garbage was picked up throughout the day! The park looks great and is only getting better!! We had a total of 25 disc golf volunteers in attendance!!

If you would like to participate in our next work party, it will be held Sunday April 12th at Milo McIver!
