I am wondering why this tourney has been demoted to a C-tier, the past two years it was a B. Just curious...

Registered! Looking forward to another great time with all you great Central Oregon folks! Never played here- is there camping on site or nearby? If not, I'll just plan on staying in town...

thanks!
Sally

We haven't had the best turnout for the past few years and are trying to keep the costs down to benefit the players. Sisters is an awesome little town with an awesome little tournament.

Camping is not available at the course, but there are hot showers in the SPRD Facility that we rent out for the event. There are tons of great camping areas within a mile of the course. We recommend Cold Springs (http://www.hoodoo.com/deschutes-national-forest-or/sisters/cold-springs/).

Agreed, you Rebels run a nice event. I've played in the last two Pine Jams and will be attending this one as well. I've been encouraging my fellow Dexterites to play, there should be a fairly substantial Eugene contingent down there this year.

Two days of golf with Matt and Jim on the Sisters course would have been pretty cool. . . Sadly, our house has sold and the kids and I will be moving that weekend.

Ryan and crew put on a GREAT event! Hope to see you all next year.

Bummer! And I hope you aren't moving out of the area! At least this way Jim and I still have a chance to win. Apparently all the other MPM players haven't discovered the easy pickings in our division. OR IS YOU ALL A SKEERED!? Come on people, let's at least get a foursome.

Pine Jam 2012 was awesome! As usual Ryan and Gretchen of DiscVentures did an excellent job hosting this event! Nobody runs a tournament smoother, period.

Results were up super fast, lunch both days, great weather, different layout every round. And a scavenger hunt for a basket and a bunch of other prizes! Which of course was won by Nate Sexton, on top of his 51st or so PDGA win. (In the scavenger hunt he narrowly defeated a MPM player who shall remain nameless, suffice it to say that the old, out of shape guy hadn't run that much in several years, was very sweaty and out of breath, and missed the would-have-been winning putt by mere inches before Nate snatched the victory.)

Great weekend, even if it was hard to get crushed by Mike Ward so badly. That guy was en fuego the last two rounds!
