This year's Dallas Tournament will be on March 17, 2012. Registration will be done through northwestsignup.com when things are ready. Since this will not be a fundraiser (unlike the previous two tournaments) 100% of entry fees will go toward payouts as well as the money from sponsors and the raffle.
Once again, the tournament will use an alternate 18 hole layout. This layout uses 6 of the original holes and 12 temporary holes. Of the temporary holes, 7 will be to temporary baskets, so if you have a temp basket that we can use, please let me know.
I will continue to update this forum when more information becomes available so keep checking.
Online sign ups are closed, but there is still room. If you would like to come send me a message with your name and division and you can pay day of (Cash only).

Got some discs from Valerie Jenkins. She sent one of her limited addition Glow Starfires that she signed and Nate Doss sent a NukeOS that he signed.
I also went out to the course today and measured it with a range finder. The course measures just over 5200 feet. It's got some open holes and some technical holes.
I'll work on getting a map put up.

Things are looking good for this event. I'm going to Next Adventure on Saturday to pick up some more stuff for the raffle and I'm going to drop everything off at the print shop tomorrow to get printed.
There's going to be food, a raffle, mini games, ctps, and a great course. So sign up and sign up your friends.

March 1st, 2012, 07:46 PM
I decided to change hole 17 today so now it will go further down the road and it's a little over 500'. That makes two holes on the course around 500 feet. I'm liking this layout a lot more than last years and I think other people will feel the same way.
There's just under 2 1/2 weeks left to register and there are 11 people registered right now. If you plan on coming please pre-register online or at least send me an email.
I'm planning on providing dinner, but I need to know how many people will be present.

You could choose to play in open or one of the age decisions if you qualify. Or you could compete against yourself. Since it's 100% payout you wouldn't lose any money. Or you could bring some friends and win their money. Haha. The possibilities are endless.

Wouldn't the payout be his entry fee - PDGA fees? Or are the PDGA fees being paid with added cash?

Haven't I contributed enough to your recreational fund this year? I mean yeah it would be an honor to play on the same card as, dion arlyn, or jason pinkal, or mike key, or jordan tardie, or mike gillespie, or chase estep. Did I miss anyone...... No those are the only ones I'd be honored to play with:whistler: I think I'll just count on people hearing that I'm playing advanced with my stellar 918 rating and counting on my world renowned skills to draw people into the division:rolleyes2:

Chase, I'm totally bummed but due to back and shoulder problems right now it doesn't look like I'm gonna make it.
Anybody that hasn't signed up I'm sure Chase will be taking "day of" registrations. This is always a fun day at a course many of us don't make it to but this one time a year. I highly recommend that if you are on the fence, get off and head to Dallas for this event.
