Simian Cleaning Question

So to all you Gorilla Boy Simian owners out there, is there anyway to remove the frame from the bag itself so it can be cleaned? I only ask because my bag is a little dirty on the bottom.

If there isn't, does anybody have any tips to cleaning them so they stay pristine?

If you do throw it in a washing machine, I'd suggest using an industrial washer and placing the dg bag in a mesh laundry bag or large pillow case. This will lessen wear n tear on the zippers and straps, especially if using an agitation type machine.

I sent him an email and his response was classic.

He doesn't clean his bags cause he like's the dirt. He strongly suggests against using a washer as the bag will come out looking worse for wear. The frame can be removed but it's a tricky undergoing. His suggestion was a sponge, warm water and a little bit of soap.

Hope this helps others that may have this issue.

dear annie,

you don't. instead, give your two year old small glasses full of various purpley jewel toned juices (grape, plum, razzleberrry, etc.) and perhaps even the fruits themselves (pomegranite, blueberries) and allow the little angel to spill, splash and smear the rest of the sofa in order to match the original stain.

I know that for a red wine spill, immediately cover it in salt. I don't know if you can wet it later and do this.
