Series Guidelines Information Release
These questions were posed to the16 member W.S.S. planning group the weekend of Nov. 19-21.
Series Format
Do you agree that any event in Washington State should be eligible to participate in the 2012 WSS?
Do you agree that WSS will be a combination of one and two day events?
Do you agree that WSS event venues should be in Washington State only?
Do you agree that Inland Northwest Series events should be included as qualifiers?
Do you agree that WSS series events should be sanctioned?
Do you agree that all WSS events should follow all the rules and guidelines from the PDGA?
Do you agree that WSS series events should meet C Tier or above standards?
Do you agree that the 2012 Series Final should be mandatory?
Do you agree that the 2012 WSS should continue to use the 2011 WSS points structure?
Do you agree that the 2012 WSS Final points should be worth more?
Do you agree how many more points should the 2012 WSS Final points be worth?
All these questions were Yes or No with the exceptions of
Question 4 the choice of “some” was added.
Question 11 had three choices
1.25 x
1.5 x
2 x
and is still being discussed.
Conclusions:
Any WA.event that wishes to be part of the series is invited to participate.
It can be either a one or two day event.
All rules and guidelines from PDGA will be followed.
The event doesn't have to be sanctioned as long as C Tier or above standards are used.
2011 Points, Mandatory Final, Final points worth more.

Do you agree that all WSS events must publicize the possibility of 5 somes ( maximum capacity)?
Do you agree that WSS two day events must have a minimum of 54 holes?

Questions 1&2 had the additional choice of TD Discretion
Conclusion: Events will offer all divisions with a minimum of 4 participants.
They must advertise maximum capacity goals.
Have a minimum number of holes 36 for one and 54 for two days.
Fees and Values
Do you agree that the WSS should collect $3 per player from every series event?
Do you agree that the WSS Tournament Directors should remit $3 per player in a timely manner?
Do you agree that the WSS will post no results until paid the $3 per player fee by each event?
Do you agree that the WSS Tournament Directors should collect $2 per player as host fees? (maximum)
Do you agree that the WSS Tournament Directors should collect $1.50 per player for trophies? (maximum)
Do you agree that the WSS Tournament Directors should provide more then First Place trophies only?
Do you agree that the WSS Tournament Directors can only value their Players packs at 1.5 X wholesale value?
Do you agree that the WSS Tournament Directors should be required to offer players packs ?

Do you agree that the WSS should offer a Series long Basket Toss Qualifier as a Fundraiser?
Do you agree that the WSS should offer a series long raffle as a Fundraiser?
Do you agree that the WSS should offer a participation Bag Tag?
All these questions were Yes or No
Question 2,3 had the additional choice of “leave em to the events.”
Conclusion Yes to Fundraisers and bag tag. 2,3 Leave em to the events.
Series Promotion
Do you agree that the WSS should have it's own web site?
Do you agree that the WSS should have it's own online sign up?
Both these questions were Yes or No
Conclusion:

No to own online sign up.
Sponsorship leads
Do you agree that the WSS should accept cash and scrip/schwag as sponsorship?
Do you agree that the WSS should pay a fee for sponsorship leads?
Do you agree that the WSS should pay a fee for sponsorship leads? How much?
