There is news to report form the WSS planning group.

The 2012 series this year will contain both

One and Two day events

Events can be sanctioned or not as long as C Tier or above standards are met

Some series promotions will be transferred to the events as revenue streams other will change to make them more exciting.

Some interesting marketing ideas are being discussed in the group.
In an effort to take some of the pressure off events concerning series fundraisers

One is to offer a pre event sale of Series fundraisers Discs.

Another is having golfers poll for which models to purchase.

Still another is whether the CFR's are really worth it.

By "worth it" I mean all the hoops that need to be addressed. The mere fact that any Series is not offered the CFR program (it's available to events only) being the biggest obstacle.

The idea would be to do a custom stamp that fits our needs rather then the manufactures requirements.
