I doubt I will play, but you all are welcome to use my Discatcher Sport for the day at Ferndale Riverside 18. If I am not busy, I will come and bring it. Otherwise, it can be picked up in Bellingham.

Well this is pretty awesome. Ill start spreading the word about it up here in Bellingham and round up a bunch of baskets/teams, I know we have 18 baskets floating around up here that we used during the Cornwall Classic. Also will it be same day sign-ups or will you be able to pre-register?

In looking at the course reviews, there are several references to Vanderyacht being very soggy in the fall/ winter months. Will this be a concern, or has some of that been remedied? Do you plan on tweaking the course(s) at all, Jub?

Both Vanderyacht and Riverside can be very soggy, it just somewhat depends on the weather. I will probably play riverside this sunday and will report on what it looks like on monday. I would be prepared to bring extra shoes.

I cant speak for Vanderyacht but Riverside is in good shape. Even with the rain on Saturday there were hardly any soggy spots at riverside. Keep in mind its natural tee pads so those can be a little iffy at times. Should be a good. show. Not that I have a say but my 2 cents is to play both rounds at riverside. The new layout has some par 4's, a nice long placement course.

Thanks Jub and Gene McConnell and all the other Bellingham dudes that helped put on this event. It was fun to play two new courses and it's always a pleasure throwing with the Bham boys.

Not sure who won the Open division, but I heard that Mr. John Stengele and Mr. Toby Cheff kicked serious -ss in the Am division. I believe they shot around 17 under for the day and would have won the Open division?

I was hoping to get a picture of the two at the awards ceremony, but my camera battery was dead. Here is a good picture of John and Toby getting their bags ready before the tourney started.
