While playing 2010 AM worlds I played with a guy from Oregon during the semifinals; he was using a glass blown mini that looked awesome. He said his friend back home made them and would be happy to sell some. I got his number but proceeded to lose it on the way home. I am working in Seattle the next few months and would love to find that person or be hooked up with the guy that makes these minis.

Since we are on the topic of custom mini's. I saw a player (Jason Pinkal maybe?) who had a polished aluminum or chrome mini with a name and PDGA#. I have not seen these for sale at any sources I can find. Was this a sweet players pack prize at some tournament in the past, or have I missed a resource somewhere to find this product?

You sure it wasn't Gawain Stern? He told me he had his custom made years again.

I think that you get a metal mini if you are part of the Eagle club in the PDGA. I think that is the one where you give them an extra $100 when you join up. I could be wrong

You can actually purchase the metal mini's off the PDGA website as well. I don't know if you can get them personalized but I do know they are anodized aluminum.
