Hab/Rec was my first tourney ever, way back in 2003, I think I am about due for another go (and some McIver retribution after my BSF meltdown!)

I signed up for ADV. I thought that would include ADV Master. I meant to be in that POOL. Did I sign up for the wrong group or overpay?!?!? Can you fix that?
Thanks !

Red Flight IS where women sign up. If you try again, you should see all options available for red flight, including pro women! Apparently there was a brief time earlier today during which some of the divisions were not listed as available. That logistical situation has been resolved. Go sign up!

See ya,
You paid the correct amount for Adv Master. You probably were on the blue flight page to sign up. Adv Master is in the red flight for sign-up. I will switch you from advanced to advanced master. For now, the current reg page shows you as advanced, but now I have you down for adv master. Hopefully, that will be corrected on the reg page for your viewing as well, but either way, you are good to go!

Just a reminder, make sure you are on the correct sign-up page for your division. If you are registering for a division that is in the red flight, then you will not be able to register for that division on the blue flight reg page. Just be aware of which logo you are clicking. There's one for red flight and one for blue flight.

This is not an official post, and I have not checked in this situation, but typically with Paypal, you can actually pay with a credit or debit card, WITHOUT even creating a PayPal account, but the link to do so is usually small and hard to find.

Red Flight divisions are currently full.
Please join the waitlist for these divisions because the top couple/few on the waitlist have a decent chance of getting in -- no guarantees, but a decent chance.
If the "join the waitlist" option is not available yet on the red flight reg page, then just go to the blue flight reg page to join the waitlist, and stipulate which division you are waiting for. As of now, there are only 2 options: pro and pro master, but you can just choose one and then stipulate in the "comments" field which division you actually are waiting for.
There are still a few spots left for advanced amateur men.

I can see where it might be confusing in the store...and it will be changed shortly to say Paypal/Credit Card.
Once you proceed past the store to the Paypal page you are presented with a view of the receipt and two options to pay.

Registration just closed. Actually it closed a couple of days ago as you know, but there aren't enough hours in the day for me right now due to both disc golf and non-disc golf related matters... (it's all good)
Wait lists are open. I am in the process of finalizing all divisions and organizing all data such as wait list so I can post it for you. An update is on it's way very soon.
Xandorf, assuming you are Xander, it looks like you are 10th on the wait list for pro. You will most likely rise a bit on that list as things shake out in the coming days. The wait list for advanced is shorter in case you were on the fence.
People who get in off the wait list will be notified as soon as a spot opens up for them.

Just an FYI, there is a yellow jacket nest just off the fairway on hole 2 west (36 hole layout). Normal hole 5 east ( basket on the stump ). The nest is in the ferns and trees on the left of the fairway (roughly 100 ft before the bucket). There are lots and they are very aggressive. My dog got the worst of it.

Be there at 7:00am! If everyone rolls in at 7:45am, then we wouldn't tee off until after 10:00am. That has happened before and it's not pretty.
If you get there at 8:01am then you might get shut out of tournament.
Starting awards before dark is a reasonable goal. We did it last year!

Thanks to all of the players who made it out to McIver for the 10th Annual Hab/Rec Fall Open! And a huge thanks to Bryan Knudson and Next Adventure!
It was quite a day. The dust is still settling even now. Results will be posted very soon.
I forgot to make one announcement during the players meeting. When I thanked the sponsors, I meant to thank Steve Carson and 4DiscGolf.com for doing a superb job on the online pre-registration. From my perspective, registration has never been easier thanks to Steve and his efforts. I very much appreciate his professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Thank you Steve!
There were some lost and found items left behind. A couple of discs, a coffee thermos, and several rather nice jackets/pullovers/vests. It looks like some people are probably wishing they had these back. Let me know if you left anything behind at the event.
Regarding Stumptown bag tags. I believe Logan Miller was nice enough to start the bag tag process Saturday morning. Unfortunately, he didn't stick around to sort thru the mess at the end, so I have a bunch of bag tags to distribute to people.
The following lists show "starting tag#, player name, score, ending tag#, and if the tag was TAKEN on Saturday" If it wasn't taken on Saturday, then I have it and it still needs to be claimed.
Red Flight:
46, Jared Fischer, 141, 62
49, Stu Hicks, 118, 46
50, Dan Dulaney, 123, 49
62, Josh Dearing, 133, 50
Blue Flight:
1, Sean Phillips, 108, 1, TAKEN
4, Jeff Mittl, 114, 4, TAKEN
5, Carson Wilson, 132, 54
11, Kel Carver, 131, 47
21, Patrick Buckley, 125, 21, TAKEN
25, Jason McGrew, 123, 11
32, David Munoz, 122, 5, TAKEN
38, Logan Miller, 126, 25, TAKEN
47, Mike Grummert, 128, 32, TAKEN
54, Josh Petit, 130, 38
So I have tag #'s for the following players:
Jason McGrew: 11
Josh Petit: 38
Stu Hicks: 46
Kel Carver: 47
Dan Dulaney: 49
Josh Dearing: 50
Carson Wilson: 54
Jared Fischer: 62
Hopefully all the ones that were taken from the event were claimed properly. Let me know if there are any discrepancies, and let me know how I can get your tags to you.
By the way, Cindy, I'm glad you thought we were the "funniest" tournament. Glad to keep you laughing... and nice win!

P.S. Do you folks think that I'm hiding the results somewhere or that I'm just sitting on them? As far as I'm concerned, it's normal turnaround for scores to be made available a few days or up to a week after the tournament.
I don't bring my laptop to the event and I don't do pdga live scoring, and I haven't had a good night's sleep in a few weeks, so you'll just have to wait for the results like everyone else used to before this era of instant scoring.
Thank you all for letting me vent a bit there, and you can assume that when the results are ready, you will know.
Stay tuned...
thanks!

sorry about bailing early on the tags... that was rude. i actually didnt pick up my tag, so if that 25 is floating around anywhere, i could try to retrieve it. otherwise, no worries, its pretty close to new tag time anyways.

Jason McGrew: 11
Josh Petit: 38
Stu Hicks: 46
Kel Carver: 47
Dan Dulaney: 49
Josh Dearing: 50
Carson Wilson: 54
Jared Fischer: 62
I have tag 25 for Jason McGrew. I asked to take Jason's tag and #25 was given to me. Go ahead and give #11 to whoever was supposed to get #25. Jason can attempt to contact them if he wants to trade. Sorry Jason I just threw you under the bus, I'll make it up to ya.

P.P.S.S.
Habrec rocks. It always falls on the opening day of deer hunting season. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the opening day of deer season ever again. :shooting:

That's cool Logan, thanks. It was a long day. Next year I need to take control of that task so you don't have to. It sounds like you can get 25 from Sean, and I left 11 for McGrew at Next Adv.
Sean, you might have just given me the biggest compliment yet for H/R. I know about deer season. Thanks! Nice win!

I'll work on making those available again.
Cindy, you shot the exact same score this year that you did last year.

Is there anyone out there who left anything behind at the Hab/Rec?
I still have unclaimed lost and found.

Did you leave the event without collecting it?

I think I left a tan fleece vest on a picnic table. If it could somehow get to a Sunday team golfer it would be great. If not, no problem, I'm not sure where it came from in the first place.

Grummert should have tag 32. Someone took that tag, so whoever has tag 32 has your tag.
Celeste, I have your tan fleece vest. You'll have it soon.

I did, that hop works beer was delicious enough to get me a little side-tracked.
Thank you for the information as well Mr. Buckley.
And now the hunt for bag tag #32...

I stopped at Next Adventure on Saturday to claim my HabRec scrip. I asked if there was redemption deadline (as in the past with Next Adventure scrip). Two different employees said there was no deadline, in particular the scrip has no expiration date printed (or written) on it. This is a change in policy from previous events when the deadline was one month after the tourney. However, they do want people to pick up their scrip ASAP.
