Come on, you homies. Think about it. By showing an out-of-towner, they emphasize that folks travel for disc golf events, which I believe is one point they're trying to make with the story. Nice article though, even if one fewer Oregonian was pictured. As DG stories go, well above the fold. Great job to everyone in the area involved with the tourney.

I was so glad they picked someone who travelled from far away. It emphasized that the tourney drew a national field. That's why they're called "National Tour" events. ;)

First DG article written for the mainstream that I've read that had the facts right.

Also, remember that they don't have an agenda; the writer and/or editor picks the photo that they think works best in the spot they have.
