I know people that sort their discs by color, by mold, or they just throw their discs in the bag.
I sort my discs by stability, mold, and then by speed. each disc has a place.
how do you do it?

I lump mine in groups;

Putt
Mid
Fairway
High speed stable
High speed under stable

This way when I practice i just grab the first few groups and get exposure to a wide variety of discs. Then when I'm packing to go play a round I just grab 2 or 3 from every category and am good.

In this order. Putter by stability. Midrange by stability. Driver by stability. If I have duplicate discs in the bag, the least stable is always first.

I have one divider; drivers are on one side, putters on the other. The distance drivers (8) are sorted by stability, the fairway drivers (3) are randomly thrown in the end. The midranges (5) and my putter are jumbled together on the other side.

Nice! My bag is set-up the same. To me this also helps from grabbing the wrong disc for the shot. I stack left to right with the putter pocket facing away from me. This also keeps the back straps outa the way when grabbing a disc..

I sort mine by:
- Speed/ How Far I Can Throw It (E.G. Firebirds are faster than Eagles, but I can throw Eagles further, so Eagles go first)
- Mold
- Stability

i do mids, fairway, drivers from understable to overstable. only real reason is to be able to quickly identify anything i may have left behind. putters get their own pocket

I've got a Gorrila Boy Siverback, which has a divider right down the middle. My mids and putters are on one side and my drivers are on the other. The groups are sorted by speed first and then stability.

Putters-
-backup putting putter
-driving putter
-main putter in front slot
Mids-
-Overstable finesse mid
-Stable finesse
-Understable finesse
-Utility mid
-Power mid

Drivers-
-Speed 10+ drivers (currently none)
-4 different PDs for almost all my driver needs
-Understable/Stable Drivers
-Overstable Fairway/Utility
-Understable/Stable Fairway

All told, I'm packing about 14 +-.

In addition to this, I put my left sock on before my right sock. It just works for me.

I USE A REVOLUTION BAG.........I PUT TWO PUTTERS IN THE FRONT POCKET (OF COURSE). ON ONE OF THE SIDE POCKETS I PUT FIVE MIDRANGE DISCS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER. ON THE THE OTHER SIDE POCKET I PUT MY FIVE MOST OVERSTABLE DRIVES IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER. INSIDE THE BAG IT HAS A DIVIDER IN THE MIDDLE WITH ONE SIDE HAVING FOUR KATANAS, THREE WRAITHS, AND TWO OTHER MIDRANGE DISCS I COULD NOT FIT ON THE SIDE POCKET. THE OTHER SIDE HAS AN ARCHON, TWO JK PRO VALKYRIES, ONE CE VALKYRIE, ONE STAR SIDEWINDER, ONE CHAMPION MONARCH, AND TWO CHAMPION VULCANS.

HMMMMMMM.......JUST REALIZED TYPING OUT THIS LIST THAT I CARRY AROUND 29 DISCS IN MY BAG..........NO WONDER ITS HEAVY

there might be a spider in there somewhere. Seriously, the elite z drone is becoming one of my favorites. I now have an elite z hornet to try out (thanks scott)........cant wait to see what that does. Of course the ce spider will always be there.....duh.

I use a gorilla boy simian which has a main compartment that can hold 12 discs, in three groups of four, and two outside pockets that hold 3-5 discs each.

Right Outside Pocket: Putters, 4 Ringers
Left Outside Pocke: High Speed Understable, 3 Surges
Main Compartment, Top Shelf: Mids (Drone, Hornet, Impact) and a random control driver, right now its an XL
Main Compartment, Middle Shelf: Stable Drivers, 3 Preds and a Z Xtreme
Main Compartment, Bottom Shelf: 4 Forces

So five different sections to the bag, the ringers, mids, preds and forces never change, but the surges sometimes are joined by a Nuke or a Hurricane, and the control driver is sometimes a reaper or another mid.

right outside pocket: 3 utility discs
Main left section: 8 Distance Drivers
Middle section: 8 Mid-range
Main right section: 8 Fairway

Just carry your bag and throw the darned discs. You should know what each disc does and if you are constantly using the wrong disc, change colors or pay attention!

Loosely by speed... most of my discs are over stable so not a lot of variety. I keep the same molds together (generally) but, again, not in a particular order. There are 3 sections in my bag: high speed drivers, mids and tech shots, approach and putters, with my stupid soft wiz and my super stupid soft wiz, aka the wet towel putter, in the putter pocket.
