I host four BATTLES a year now in the Salem area and I'm the only one with this format as far as I know. Not many turnys that pay $200 to champion on a $5 buy-in, but BATTLES do! So far only a handfull of people have dared to put up the $5 in 5 BATTLES so far. But I have a vison of 32 players signing up for the BATTLE at Cascades May 7th. Check out capitalcitydiscgolf.com for more details. :shooting:$$$$$$$$$

The next BATTLE is at Woodmansee July 9th @ 10am. 3rd Annual BATTLE at Woodmansee is not a safari layout. Front 9 first round, Back 9 second round, alt. pins front 9 third round, alt. pins back 9 fourth round and so on. Tournament central will be at the covered area near Sunnyside Dr. Long Putt will be in the big field next to the tennis courts. This is my favorite course for BATTLE format. Short holes, unforgiving fairways.

Looks like a distance contest; my question, why the baskets?
Ah, how I miss DG when terrain was more important that distance and $$$.
But have fun you cannon arms you...

Only the BATTLE at Cascades is a "SAFARI" layout and long holes. The other 3 Annual BATTLES are a more technical 9 hole layout mostly between 190'-350'. If you haven't played Taloali then you don't want to miss this chance to ca$h wile playing the most naturally flowing wooded course in the central Willamette valley.
