I need help IDing and pricing this spider:
small ring star stamp, seems like champ plastic and gummy, but don't know what CE would look/feel like
inked name on inner rim, no dings on rim , well loved, infrequently thrown
similar looking on ebay reads:
"CHAMPION SPIDER GUMMY INNOVA PROTO STAR GOLF DISC"
thanks

This is gummy CE. I can't say how much genuine CE is in the plastic, but it was made at the same time as the pearly proto Spiders. I think it's worth around $35 new.

Those are indeed ce spiders basically due to the fact that only one run of the ce spider was put out with the mini proto star stamp. Some were pearly and some were a more gummy translucent colors. Brand new pearly ones could go for $40-50 and the translucent about $35-40 brand new. With the stamp worn off i would say those have been used a bit and would be worth close to $20..........i rarely buy used so that would just be a guess.

Interested in getting rid of it? I've been wanting a CE for a while and it being gummy makes it all the better. :D

When i read flat top im thinking firebird flat top, 2nd run ce valkyrie flat rop, 2001 ce usdgc roc flat top. Ce spiders are really not flat tops.......well, not even more than say a kc pro aviar.

I second manyard's second.
then again chris< flat or domey never precisely means less or more stable. just a little tidbit.

I was noting the lack of domeyness in profile compared with a recent champ spider I held beside it, is all...I don't know the pure characteristic required to label it "flat top"
true,it is no more flat looking than the 10x aviar beside it in the pic, but I would have considered that flat before now
So, I guess I agree with Spider Dan completely...
would y'all consider the Flick a "flat top"?
cheers :chug:
