Justin Shrack turned in some scores from High Bridge and I have started keeping track of them using the Scratch Scoring Average worksheet provided by PDGA.
The World Class Par (par for a 1000 rated player) at High Bridge is 49 with Hole #14 being a Par 4 and Holes 1, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 18 being Par 2 holes.
The Average Am Par at High Bridge is 58 with holes 3, 5, 10 and 14 being Par 4 holes for Ams.
This sheet will provide local players (PDGA members & non members) with a local rating for the course that the scores are from. :dancing:
We can now handicap players at High Bridge. All you have to do is subtract the lower rated players rating from the higher rated players rating and divide by 11. Round off to the nearest whole number and subtract this amount from the lower rated players score. :shooting:
The more people that turn in scores the more accurate the SSA will be.
The rating sheet is attached below.
When I get some scorecards from Downriver I will do the same for that course.
