Join us for the 2010-2011 OLE Series... the longest running disc golf series in the northwest. Low key, fun completion over the winter... keep your game tuned up and have a lot of fun doing it!

Dates (all Saturdays):
Nov 27th - Dabney
Dec 18th - Timber
Jan 22nd - Trojan
Feb 5th - Pier
March 5th - Stub Stuart

Format: 2 rounds of 18. Registration 8-9am. Player's meeting at 9am, tee at 9:15am. No Pre-reg necessary.

Hello,

For all of you playing over the cold winter months, we have a special deal for you to reward your disc golf tenacity. If you play at least two OLE events, you can sign up for the Great NW Open at your second OLE. For those of you that have already played two events, you can sign up at Trojan this Saturday, for those of you that haven't played OLE yet, you can still play two before we open on-line registration in mid Feb.

We will be holding only 50 spots for this, with the bulk of spots being reserved for on-line registration. However, if we don't have all 50 claimed by the Pier Park OLE on Feb 5th, then we will hold these open for anyone to claim at the last OLE at Stub Stuart on March 5th... after that, these spots will go to the wait list.

Hi all,

Just wanted to clarify that despite an abundance of water, Trojan will still be happening. If we need to skip a hole, we will. I think we will be bringing extra baskets so we can fill in for any holes that might not get played... the show will go on! :)

So I guess it'll be more like old school OLEs with holes that you only get to play once a year ;)

for those of you who are not hillbillies... we got hammered... 14 inches out at my place which is about the same elevation as stub and not too far, as the crow flies... i haven't been home since yesterday 'cause i'm out of power so i'm not sure how much has melted... this may be a very interesting OLE...

I am waiting for an update form the park. However Stub Plays easier in the snow as it makes it easier to find discs and see down fairway with all that white reflecting light.

It will be a fun event and maybe if there is snow it will cover up some of our mess!

We are still planning on hosting OLE at Stub this Saturday. It's supposed to be in the high 40s with some rain tomorrow, then high 40's and less rain Saturday. So my guess is that the roads will be clear and there might be a little snow to contend with, but not too bad.

We are planning to camp out up there in a cabin Friday night, so we'll see you all up there bright and early Saturday morning! :D Was there some talk about doing some BBQing at lunch?

Wow! What an epic first round! After about 4 hours, we emerged from the forest, weary and hungry. The addition of snow to this amazing course made it that much more work to play. We played a second round on the front nine only, just once through, and called it day while we could still head home before night fall. I can't wait to make it back out to this gorgeous park. If you have a chance to stay in the cabins, they are pretty sweet! I'm glad we stayed in them this weekend, and I can't wait to make it back!

To qualify for the Series Championship a player had to play in the same division in at least 4 events. Up to 4 events of points are counted toward a player's overall points. If more than 4 events were played, only the 4 highest scores are used (lowest points are dropped).
