The Discrupters remain unbeaten in Oregon in 2011, and look forward to our match against the Prancing Cows. We'll be unveiling our "ringer" for the final leg of the season, as another Sunnes joins the Discrupters (pending official approval from the TDG sanctioning committee).
Mr. Lewis,
What's the official way to let you know The Discrupters would like to replace Vic Johnson with Geof Sunnes? Would this work? Vic is leaving the team due to being a giant b..., er, medical reasons.
Geof, whom Ken Climo has called, "The next me, but better," looks forward to any and all competitors. With a precision-controlled drive of just over 600 feet and a 97% putting accuracy rate within 50 feet, the newest Discrupter has been predicted to win every stroke play match he will play in his life. At present, attempts to give him a rating under the present system have failed, but, in his own words, "I'm even better than I was yesterday."

Cant wait it should be a fun match and I was hoping Jonesy was going to put up a better fight after what I posted about your team. Lance and I went out there yesterday and got some practice in before we beat down on some team liplock.

Jonesy was on fire when I played with him last week at Milo. If he is even 5 strokes worse then we played you should get real nervous Keith. After playing the 27 hole tour, Jonesy had me convinced. That Flow will be the next Latitude 64 disc I buy. Hyzer/Flat/Subtle hyzer fade, and brand new it fly's like that. Better hope he loses that disc on one of the 1st holes he plays.

What he said!!!
Since only the 27 hole layout is currently present, We will probably play my favorite 18 hole layout of those 27 holes. Using the 27 hole numbering system and off the top of my head from work with no map here goes:
1-Pro pad - Par 5
2-Only pad - Par 3
3-Only pad - Par 3
27-Pro pad - Par 3
8-Pro pad - Par 4
9-Pro pad - Par 3
10-Am pad - Par 3
11-Pro pad - Par 3
12-Pro pad to 13 pin - Par 4
14-Pro pad - Par 3
15-Only pad - Par 3
16-Only pad - Par 3
17-Only pad - Par 3
18-Only pad - Par 3
19-Pro pad to 23 pin - Par 3
24-Pro pad - Par 3
25-Am pad - Par 3
26-Am pad - Par 3
Plays to a par 58 but should be good to go with 9 RPs/Stroke.

Complaints about playing Milo? Inconceivable.

January 11th, 2011, 02:44 PM
My only complaint is the walk outs from 27 to 8 and 19 to 24
Edit: I need to learn to read the 19 pro pad to 23 basket...

Edit: I need to learn to read the 19 pro pad to 23 basket...
Hole 27 plays off the west hillside to the basket on the raised green between the trees, but instead of walking to your right back to the hole 4 tee pad you walk towards the river to the 8 tee pad. I'd like to keep hole 4 in the mix (after hole 27 and before hole 8) if you can find another hole to get rid of that won't result in another weird walkout. (I was thinking maybe walking from pin 18 to tee pad 24 but I like my little backwards hole a lot):chinscratch:
But we still have some time to knock this out if anyone has other ideas. I just need an 18 hole layout with good flow. We could just play the east 18 as signed if everybody thinks that is easiest. Being a long time player of Milo, I sometimes get the 27 hole layout stuck in my head, there might be a better solution out there.

SS Wizard or Star TL for me. I always seem to screw up my drive anyway. Why do I carry so many when I only throw two well?
"97% at 50 ft" (that is a total farce)

Jordan,
Can we trust the 27 hole numbering for Milo on DGC Review?
http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course_files/416/7807105a.pdf
Or is it one of the other versions of the 27 hole layout where some play 1w-9w then 6e-18e, 1e-5e?
Could you post a layout link that has the 27 hole layout your way or just confirm one I've stated?
Bruce
January 12th, 2011, 03:27 PM
The link you posted is the correct 27 hole loop.
Sausage Fingers
January 12th, 2011, 08:06 PM
I have recruited some help with a map for the scorecards. And the idea was brought up about playing 2 different layouts to play all 27 holes at least once.
If we play 2 different layouts at Milo and I print 2 different maps on the scorecards it will be vitally important that the scorecards be filled out correctly or we won't have people playing the right layout together.

The scorecards have been printed.
Please pay careful attention to the scorecards and use the Morning and Afternoon cards correctly. Each card has the hole order and tee pad (where there are 2 pads) for that round so don't mix them up.
In the morning we will be playing mostly the west side of the course and playing the east (with the genius hole) in the afternoon.
The back of each scorecard has a copy of the 27 hole layout that corresponds to the hole numbers on the front. Please pay attention and let's try to get it right.
