Well, I was going to post this on odsa, since that thread is more known, BUT, the site has been down for a while, so I'll post it here on a site that WORKS! (hardly post over there these days anyway)
Congrats to Aaron T. who aced hole #16 on Saturday 2/21/09, good for $300! Aaron deserved an ace on this hole, being that he's done more work on building the hole than anyone. He pretty much dug out the hole for the pin placement and cemented it in himself, as well as trimming away a bunch of blackberries, scotch broom, and tall grass. With witnesses watching the basket, the disc hit as cleanly as possible, dead center of the chains, right on the stripe--a good sight better than most of Aaron's putts! :trophy:
So after Andy's big $700+ ace, and Aaron's recent one, the acepot is severely diminished. haven't added it all up yet, but I think it should be around $100 (thanks to Aaron throwing $20 back to the fund).
As a side note, Ming and I shot a -12 to take 1st (or more accurately, Ming shot about -10 and I shot about -2), and there was a 3 way tie for 2nd/3rd at -6...Eric M./Andy F., Wayne W./Joe H., and Aaron T./Samantha. I'm not sure who took the money for what, but Aaron and Sam, figuring they'd made enough for the day and conceded the playoff, opting for refreshing beverages instead. :chug:
Congrats again to Aaron, and a reminder that there are no doubles this weekend due to the Greenlake Ice Bowl.

No, according to http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ , www.ODSA.com is up and running. Funny, it comes up blank for me (at least the Forum does). Maybe it has changed to white text on a white background....

Hey Ted, we tee off at 10 AM on Saturdays, and ask that people sign up by 9:30 or so. We meet up at the gazebo by the playground, just look for the person with the money. The entry fee is $8 ($5 goes to payou, $2 to the acepot, $1 to the course fund), the format is random draw doubles. We'll be moving to Tuesday evenings sometime soon, now that we have more daylight, but will still meet up on Saturdays for another week or two.

Will there be doubles this Saturday (4/4)? It's shaping up to be a nice weekend!

That's why I'm asking. Not everyone got in or can put in the time-committment to do the CSI. I'll go to TC if it looks like it's game-on.

There will be doubles at Terrace on Sat. 4-4. Sign up by 9:30 at the shelter by the playground. Aaron will be running it. There should be a decent group because I think only a few creekers will be playing CSI.

With more daylight now, we're moving doubles to Tuesday nights, tee off at 5 PM for now, we'll move it later as the season progresses. I don't have firm numbers on the ace pot at the moment, but I think it should be in the neighborhood of $250.

Heh, once again information I had no idea about. I don't have a problem with that, I suppose with the sun setting around 8 and hole 18 still in the short, disc hunting at twilight shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Yup! Signups around 5, and teeing off at 5:30. I don't have all the numbers, but I believe the acepot is sitting somewhere around $300 now.

Meant to update this thread last week, but after having a small showing of 10 brave souls in the less than ideal conditions, we've hit an ace pot cap again. The pot is standing at $300 and the backup is steadily gaining. Still the same deal for the time being, 5:00 sign ups, 5:30 start. Come on out if you can make it!

Just want to let everyone know that we've now reached a full $300 in the backup ace pot so we're building up the current pot now. I believe we're up to $365--due to grow more tonight, unless of course, someone else hits it!

No ace today in dubs, not sure what the pot is now tim ? we did have an ace right after dubs. ming and his kid were on my card and we finished on #4 then ming goes over to 5's tee with half of the players standing around 5's basket and skip aced. that is the only ace i have ever heard of on that hole. nice job ming just 18 holes to late.:headbang:

It just means that instead of piling all the money together into one ginormous ace pot, we've set aside $300 as a secondary pot for when an ace is hit, so that we don't have to start over from scratch again.

Whew, just counted up the ace pot while on my lunch break, we're sitting at $532 right now. I'm not normally a fan of strip clubs, but I might be tempted to visit one if I were to hit the ace...there's like $160 worth of dollar bills in this sweaty, stinking stack!

I haven't counted what the ace pot is at currently, but I think it's creeping up on the $700 mark.
That being said, all these months of running dubs on a weekly basis are taking their toll on me. So I'm saying it now: once an ace is actually hit, weekly doubles will be ON HIATUS. Dubs is good for the scene, and good for the course, so I won't be canceling it permanently or anything, but I do need a breather. So once that elusive ace is made, doubles will no longer be happening for an unspecified length of time--unless of course somebody else wants to step in and run things. Barring that though, something will return, but quite possibly something different than the doubles we've known.
So come on out and get it while the gettin's good!

Also.. please continue to keep an eye out for "lost/stray" discs! When I had lost my ODDGC disc, it was during the "doubles" although we were not playing the doubles.. That's why I keep wondering if it is one from the group who was waiting behind us that might had taken it. (Back up to the last week of June... any one remember?)

Last rumor I heard was over $800. Is it true?
Tim
August 10th, 2009, 06:40 PM
What? Over $800? That's preposterous! It's like $780...these rumor mongers, man, they exaggerate everything! Though, as long as more than 10 people show up tomorrow, it should be over 800 then. :D
Had a few close calls last week, one guy aced #3 before doubles began, one guy on my card hit chains on #1, and someone else hit 13 solidly, but the single chains didn't hold hit in.
But, the old broken yellow bandit on #13 has been replaced with a shiny new Chainstar, thanks to money raised from doubles. An ace could be a hell of a way to break it in!
Tim
August 14th, 2009, 07:59 AM
Smaller than expected turnout this past week, only 28 people showed up to take a stab at the ace pot. Once again, it wasn't hit and moves on to next week. I almost got to see one of the best aces of all time though...Ian Markusson let fly one of the most beautiful shots I've seen on 18, fast, clean, low and pure, just a straight line shot down the right side of the fairway, perfect fade towards the basket, and then a skip off the rim with a little chain tickle to boot. 6" to the right, and it would have been a beautiful 500' ace. But, unfortunately for Ian, it didn't happen. Sooo, now the ace pot stands at a respectable $836 or so? Can we get this thing to 4 digits!?
Anyway, the important announcement is that since daylight is becoming a commodity once again, we're moving the start time to 5:15 SHARP. Be sure to let the non-internet folk know!

Well, two words come to mind, and those would be "Dangit, Bobby!"
Interesting turn of events tonight at doubles. People were so eager to play they were practically handing me money as I was parking my car, and due to light limitations and the layout of Terrace, I decided to cap the registration to 44 people tonight. I ended up having to turn at least 6 people away, which I felt bad about, but felt it was necessary. As fate would have it, something got screwed up in the registrations and someone's name didn't get written down, so I ended up without a card and didn't play. So the cookie crumbles.
But, as I was picking up some necessities at the grocery store, I got a call from Aaron. Sounding a bit hoarse and out of breath, he reported that he just got what is now #14 (the new basket, go figure). For those keeping track, it was Aaron that cleaned out the ace pot LAST time too. On what was then the newest basket at the time. :chinscratch:
In any case, Aaron is now $900+ richer...that is if he can ever find me! Congrats, Aaron! I wish I'd been able to get it with my car going in the shop in a couple days, but oh well, waddayagonnado?
On another note, as I mentioned earlier, now that the ace has been hit, I'm gonna take a break from running dubs for a while. No further details as of yet, but I'll be sure to post on here when I do.

Heh, well, believe it or not, nobody has approached me saying "Can I please run doubles in your place?" :p People have offered to help out, but noone has made any commitments as such. So as of now, I would say doubles is most likely not happening, at least in any kind of official sense. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of pickup doubles, but as far as having an ace pot and the scheduled payout, those won't be in play unless someone checks in with me first.

Heh, don't raise your expectations too high. As per the typical work party situation, there were only a few of us that stuck around. And our materials supplier was MIA, so we did what we could. We agreed that fixing the leg breaker hole on 2's teepad was a priority, and like inspecting a house for termites, we saw more and more stuff that needed fixing. So we spent the whole time trying to get that tee area into better shape.
I've put little bands of yellow duct tape on the rungs of the baskets as directional indicators to the next teepad. I'd heard of this idea before, but got to experience it firsthand at one or two of the courses in OR. It really helps for people not familiar with the layout of a course, especially one as wacky as Terrace's--I just hope people are able to put 2 and 2 together as to why the tape is there. I also did what I could to clear out the blackberries on 12's green...they'll need to be uprooted to be a final solution, but they're at least beaten back for the time being.
sillybizz
September 29th, 2009, 01:24 PM
That's really too bad. Tim anytime you need me for anything disc golf related, work parties, tourney help, just to play, bitching sessions, whatever, you know I will usually help, I'm feeling a little guilty for not being there with the two of you, I'm guessing it was you and Evan? I know what your talking about with the tape I have seen that before, anything to help with navigating the un navigatable (lol) Terrace Creek is a good idea.

Yeah, Evan was there, but also Aaron, Samantha helped out. And Kyle B. showed up to pitch in, even though he didn't play in dubs. Eric was there too, but he didn't do much more than drink Long Hammers and smoke cigarettes, and talk about how nice it was to not be working. :rolleyes2: No need to feel guilty, you were out of town, and there was only so much we could do without materials anyway.

Yeah, that's true, I guess the first time I saw it was at Seatac, but those were basically little flags with arrows pointing you in the direction. Those would get ripped off pretty regularly. Instead, this is just tape wrapped around whichever rung is the closest to the right direction. I think I saw this done at Bryant and/or Waterloo (it's hard to remember the details after so many courses in a short time). I'd also heard someone that had an idea of doing that at Steilli, each layout being a different color code, and have a ring of tape on each basket pointing where to go next. I think that'd be a great aid in figuring out how to get around there.

Yeah, not a bad idea. Though, before we had our real kiosk, we had a little sign staked in the ground RIGHT NEXT to the first tee, and it was amazing how many people never even noticed it was there. Actual conversation that was had:
"You guys playing in the tourney coming up?"
"There's a tourney?"
"Yeah, there's a flyer on the sign next to 1's tee."
"Huh?"

huge turnout this week, five people! A little weak from last weeks nineteen but since tourneys are being held on the same day I understand. I have been wanting to post the scores for doubles for a while but not every group turns in their score cards but since this week there was only one group, and I had control over the card, I will post them now.
Wayne/Tom: -7
Alex playing cali: -6

Just a heads up for those that aren't going to be headed up to the Hwy. 9 tourney this weekend, I'll be running doubles, and plan to work on the course afterwards. We're hoping to get the rest of the posts for tee signs into the ground, and clean up a couple spots for Terror Creek next weekend. I know it's short notice (not like it makes a difference anyway), but if anybody is up for pitching in, we're more than happy for the help!

We had 10 people show up for dubs this weekend, which might not be a lot, but hey, it was double the previous weeks' turnouts! Ming and Andy F. won, Old Bones and Evan T. got 2nd (I forget the scores).
We had a few people stay on to help with the work party, thank you Aaron, Evan, Curt, Mark, and Old Bones. We now have teesign posts for all the holes (at least all the ones we don't forsee moving in the future.) Thanks for the help everyone!:yay:

Thanks for letting me play Highway 9 Tim, it was tons of fun even if I suck. Our very own Alex won the am division with -6 between Lake Stevens and Arlington and along the way stole one of the three CTP's I had at one point though I still ended up with one, Bill Clark stole the other one from me, last group to play that hole and he parks his disc laying against the pole, though to be fair it was his basket we used for that island hole. Good job on the work party fellas, I'm sorry I wasn't there to participate but glad you got the rest of the posts in. What the heck man as soon as there is news I'm not running Terrace dubs the turnout doubles?! :bricks: :shooting: :cool2:

Nice turnout (ten) today for doubles in the wind and rain, it was a very tough round but a couple of teams managed to go way under par. Next week there is no doubles due to the matchplay event that Andrew Rivers is putting on so I encourage everyone to play in that, it's cheaper than doubles anyway. here are scores for this week:
Ming/Aaron: -9
Todd/Doug: -8
Eric/Wayne: -3

Also there will be some changes to doubles in the coming weeks, there will be a night golf doubles one night and a couple of other unexpected things, stay tuned. There will be no doubles on Saturday the Second of January, 2010, there will be doubles this weekend even though the tourney at Steilly is going on so come on down if you're not going to that tournament, everyone is invited.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This will be the last 'normal' doubles for a while. The monotony of random doubles week after week needs to be broken both for myself and for others. We will be playing a different event every week, we are going to play hat trick doubles, singles, and other fun events yet to be named.
Also, Tuesday the 15th of December starting at 6pm will be having night golf random doubles and if we get enough interested then it will be a weekly or bi weekly event, the buy in is $5, that's $3 to play, $1 to the ace pot (the ace pot for this and doubles will be the same) and $1 for a CTP, which will be either straight cash or a brand new disc or two, and if you want to donate a non inked new disc, I will pay for your buy in. We will play the front nine twice as I don't want to make people play the back nine in the dark. You will need to bring a flashlight, bring extras just in case someone else doesn't have one and LED lights or glow discs, and if you don't have any I can provide some at no charge, also whenever you throw a disc it has to be either a glow disc or have an LED on it or it's not legal, that means no putting with a putter that's not lighted, sorry.
I'm thinking of lowering the buy in for Saturday doubles from $8 ($5 to play, $2 for the ace pot and $1 for the course fund) to $5 ($3 to play, $1 for the ace pot and $1 for the course fund) but I want feed back from everyone else so I'm going to create a poll in the 'Terrace Creek' section on this website, please vote. If you have any questions, concerns, comments or just want to talk, either PM me or send me an email at sillybizz@yahoo.com

Hat trick doubles is where after six holes you switch partners, so if you are in a four person group everyone would play with everyone else. It pays like singles. The score card has separate scores for each person and when you and your partner get a birdie it goes on both your score and his. If there is three or five or an odd number in a group then there is a rolling cali as well. I can't take credit for this one, Jub and Jim run this at Arlington every sunday. Triples sounds like fun, I'll probably do that. :)

Hat trick sounds like fun too! It would help eliminate some of the pro/pro pairing advantage since you'd only get them for a few holes. Of course you could get a foursome like Wayne, Ming, Aaron, and Eric in which case you'd be screwed anyway :biggrin2:

Yeah that would be a brutal group to try and beat for sure but that would be a rare case, most times I have played HTD it's pretty fair groupings but of course it's all random.

Just to let everyone know this Saturday will be random format, there are about a dozen different formats and we will draw to see which one we will play the day of, so no one knows in advance. From here on out we will play random format EXCEPT the first Saturday of the month which will be normal best shot random doubles. The ace pot is in effect and it is at $300 and will be capped there for a while to build a back up pot. If you have any format ideas for doubles please send me a message, I have a bunch already, and a couple I made up.

By the way I forgot to announce it at doubles this week but next week the buy in is going to be reduced to $5.
I've made the decision to not charge for the course fund for a while basically because there is enough in it right now and there isn't much being done at the course and the same people are showing up every week and the die-hard players have put enough into the fund over the years that we don't need to charge you guys over and over every single week, that's a bit much.
The buy in goes down this week to $5, that's $4 to the pay out and $1 to the ace pot which is capped at $300 and we are building a back up, how much is in that one I don't know as I don't have all of the ace pot (I need to get together with Tim) and I haven't counted what I have but my estimate would be around $20-$50 in the back up.
I still have hand warmers from the night golf event which I will bring to doubles every week, they are free of charge. Hope to see you guys out there!
I forgot to mention that there will be a special surprise this week and I highly recommend that everyone come out.

Today we had 14 players show up. We drew Hat Trick Doubles which pays like singles but played like doubles out at random and it was a little confusing as it was the first time I've had to TD with this format so I'm sorry for that. Most of us had fun... Here are the scores:

Joe, awesome job running dubs this past week, thanks for doing it for me. We have played regular doubles three weeks in a row now so I thought I would give everyone a heads up this week about the format. We have played all the formats in the hat except for two and one of them we will play this week so without further ado ..... ONE DISC CHALLENGE! That's right you heard me. You can carry two discs with you but one has to be designated as the back up in case of a lost disc.

OK some updates are in order.
First off I'm going to be charging again for the course fund basically because there are some things I want to do to improve the course and it would be nice for me to have some money to go to when needed. Any suggestions on improvements are welcomed, please send me a PM or email (sillybizz@yahoo.com) and I will try my best to get what's needed done.
Also there was some concern about club money and what it's used for, how much is used, etc. I will post here and on the Kiosk once a month to update how much is taken in and how much is taken out.
Now we get to how this changes the buy in. I don't want to buy in to go up again so I'm going to lower the pay out. So the buy in for doubles will be $5: $3 to pay out; $1 for the ace pot; $1 for the course fund. I will make an announcement this week before doubles starts. This will all go into effect starting on the 20th of this month.
Please spread the word to the non internet folks.

Sorry but I forgot something else...
Starting next doubles the course fund will turn into the basket fund, let me explain. I am trying to save some money so I can redo the layout and put in baskets at nearby Bicentennial Park. Lately some local players have been out there clearing some things out and there is bark out there like there is at Terrace Creek. I am also thinking of holding a tournament sometime in the coming months to raise money as well. I figure it will take close to $3000 for nine baskets, maybe more but I think we can do it! This would relieve Terrace Creek from new and less than serious players. Please PM me or send an email for any comments or concerns, thank you.

The course fund is at $866 dollars by my math, rough estimate. The ace pot is still capped at $300 with the backup being around $220-250 dollars, I haven't counted it in a while.

As much as I may agree with the need to rehab this little place, as it has many perks, I believe that this needs to be discussed with the club and voted on. I also believe that new baskets should go in at terrace and that Terrace should then donate the baskets (our older ones) to this project.
Either way I don't think this should happen with out discussion, as we are trying to build our club back up!!!

Alright I have a meeting to go to about Bicentennial Park tomorrow at 7pm so I won't be playing doubles. I need someone to do payouts and hold the money for me, please let me know tomorrow when you see me if you can do this. Also I've been thinking of changing doubles around, still keeping random best shot but I've been thinking of a way to make it easier to cash for a wider range of players. My thought is to have an advanced group and an a novice group or whatever we want to call it so each team gets one novice and one advanced player on it so that two really good players can't be team up together to dominate scores, we need a way to make it so everyone has a chance of winning and the same people aren't cashing every week. Also May the 4th will be the first doubles starting at 5:30PM, more to come on all of this at doubles tomorrow night.

It's a good idea, but the execution is somewhat complicated. Tim and Aaron have run it like that in the past. Deciding who is advanced/pro and who is int/novice becomes very difficult. Individuals have different ideas than their peers about their own level of play. No matter which way you slice it, end result, Wayne still wins, (most of the time). I personally like the competetiveness of trying for double digits under par. It's your baby now, do what feels right.

Also May the 4th will be the first doubles starting at 5:30PM, more to come on all of this at doubles tomorrow night.I'm struggling with this concept for Tuesday Twos this year. It's a great idea, in theory, but only works well if you have an equal number of advanced and intermediate players. Last year we as much as a 70/30 split some weeks. One week it would be mostly advanced, the next week we'd have an overflow of intermediate. When that happens, the TD shuffles people around as best as he sees fit. Either way, it's impossible to make everyone happy.

Thanks for the input guys, just what I was looking for. I was thinking this could be a problem as well. Not being able to keep everyone happy is a week by week basis anyway, right fellow TD's? :waaah:
The reason I went to random format was to switch up the monotony of random doubles all of the time and to level the playing field; at least more than best shot does. people didn't like that so I went back best shot and now people are getting tired of the same people winning every week so I'm not sure what to do. If this is my baby, I think it's mother was drinking while pregnant. :nahnah: :posting:

Yeah, when we first started doing it, we were doing Pro/Am doubles which worked well sometimes, but more often than not, it was more trouble than it was worth. When you'd have days where only 3 or 4 "Pros" showed up, there was always a hassle to try to figure out which Ams were "good enough" to be considered pros. And then one or two times, we had the unlikely situation where there were only a few Ams that showed up (I didn't bother with trying to decide which Pros were shitty enough to be considered Ams).
I like the idea of leveling the playing field, and that's why I was contemplating the singles handicap league in my pre-Terrace burnout days. Jason Coke had a good system of doing a handicapped singles/doubles at NP when he lived up here, but it took a good deal more effort in keeping track of scores and divvying up the payout. I can try to remember the details of that system if you're interested, but handicapped singles would be the easiest method.
Funny anecdote: When we first were doing the Pro/Am dubs, somebody bitched to me about how it wasn't fair to be dividing up the players into pools like that. Then later, when we said "screw it" to the Pro/Am thing, and went to straight random dubs, that same player bitched to me again, saying that it wasn't fair that teams could be so uneven and some system should be implemented to prevent that. :rolleyes2: Lessons learned: People are prone to bitch, there's no pleasing some people no matter what, and chances are, Wayne's gonna win anyway. :D

Yeah I've found what works best for me is just to not play, I get bored with best shot random doubles and I might as well just spend that $5 on something useful or just hand over $5 to Wayne and Ming every Tuesday to save time, I can't believe people want to raise the buy in also, that's insane. I'll probably just keep it the same as making a pro/am dubs is more work for me anyway. The same people whine and complain no matter what I do so I know what you're talking about Tim.

By the way, the top two teams from last week, I owe each player $2.50 as I screwed up the payout, sorry about that! Come and see me Tuesday.

I completely agree, we've had enough light to do so for quite a while now, and it would make for a larger turn out also.

I'll be collecting money at 5:00pm; I'm probably not going to play due to the extreme amount of playing I have done this past weekend and slippery hills that I always seem to fall on.

A couple of announcements but I'll do the scores first. 15 players out tonight in the mucky weather; even had a couple ducks guarding the basket for hole five, short story short it was wet. Anyway here are the scores:
Eric/Jessie: -6 and took first in two hole playoff
Aaron/Peter: -6 took second
Wayne/Michael G(budmans): -5 Took third (Michael I owe you $5)
Nate/Conner: -2
Evan/Samantha: +2
Bob/Mike: +2
John/Chip: +3
Ron playing cali: +10 (way to hang in here Ron, that showed character!)
And the announcement... We had (before tonight) $327 in the main ace pot and $300 in the back up but I am combining them in to one ace pot under one condition; if you hit an ace 10% of the ace pot will be held to build up the next one. I think this will get more people out to play every week which will build the ace pot and the course fund for future projects. As of right now the standing ace pot is at $642. ($300 back up, $327 main ace pot and the $15 from today) There was some concerns about what happened last year when the ace pot got really big and the number of people was capped to 48 or 50 people. I am not going to do that to the loyal people who show up every week but just be prepared for a hike out to the back nine from now on. Also because of the influx of people that the ace pot will most likely bring YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP AT 5:25PM OR YOU ARE TOO LATE TO SIGN UP!!! This is your warning, please tell those that don't have computers or a library card. Tell one, tell all, tell your friends, tell your mom; The ace pot is HUGE!!! Come on down to Terrace Creek and win your self a small fortune and don't forget to check the Terrace Creek section of this website for ace pot and course fund updates; this is YOUR money. Everybody Wang Chung tonight! I'm in a good mood. :yay:

Tom I applaud your efforts to keep Terrace Alive. Lowell certainly does nothing except skim the sales off the street. Don't be surprised if the disc-functional club tries to take back your Tuesdays now that the weather is getting nicer.
It's about time Ace pots quit being capped. They should run till someone hits it. The seed money for the next pot is also LONG OVERDUE. Way to go Tom we need lots more dedicated, responsible, AND trustworthy PEOPLE like you to keep our sport on the up and up.
Side note I heard that there was a super secret Seattle Disc Functional election for Board members. Lowell was elected President by a land slide
Other board positions were filled but are being kept secret.

Thanks Jub, I appreciate that big time. I'm trying to work with everyone down at Terrace despite our philosophical differences as we all have one thing in common and that's trying to make it better. I find it shocking that I'm the only one to think that we should account for the money.
If there was an election then I should have been notified as I am a member.

Alight huge turnout at Terrace Creek Doubles last night for the big ace pot, 48 players. Aaron Thor and Ming both hit hole #13 during the round to split the ace pot. It was at $690 with 10% held back ($69) to build the next pot so they each split $621 or $310 and 50 cents a piece. I can't list all of the scores because some people didn't turn in their cards; please turn in your cards guys it makes it easier on me as a TD and people like to read the scores later online. Here is the top four teams that cashed:
Big Mike/Aaron H: -14
Ken/Neil: -10
Aaron T/Ian: -9
Nate B/Ming: -8 (won 4th in a playoff)
Aaron/Mike: -8

@ 30 players... 30 X 1=30 No Ace hit, which means the ace-pot will be up over $100 next week ... come out and play if you want to know who wins, and what scores were recorded.:wink2:

Way to facilitate communication, Toby. Can we assume that you will be the communications director for the S.Disc-functional GC by posting every week.
I heard after the big stink with Tom, another TC Disc Golfer had either borrowed or absconded with club funds. When the actual amount was discussed the current treasurer tried to lower it. Fortunately the person who asked about the PAY DAY LOAN knew the correct amount and pressed the issue.
Again I say BOYCOTT SDGC EVENTS until legitimate elections can be held and full financial disclosure is released.
