Best discs or most popular? There is a big difference. For example the Groove is probably more popular than say an XL but the XL is vastly superior to the Groove IMO.

Remember he is looking for the MOST POPULAR, not what your favorite discs are.

I know a lot of ladies who disc golf, and most of the stuff on my list are in their bags too. Maybe not the firebird, TL or obviously the r-pro katana.

I think it's important to stock the 150's as well, at Chainbangerz there is an entire section for customers to look through from different companies. I know a lot of the older gentlemen like them too. My Sister, Mom and Step-Dad all throw 150 discs. :)

sillybiz's list is pretty accurate but would add the sidewinder and beast.

Therefore the XL must be supremely unpopular, as is the groove.

I think the wizard is a very popular putter, I run into a lot of people who use it as I do. Can't really speak to the rest because I use drivers and mids that are not the mainstream discs. Definitely get some Lat 64 discs though.

I also think Sillybizz has posted a pretty accurate list. Disc Golf Center seems to be a real popular online store. If you go to their website (discgolfcenter.com) you will see their best sellers listed on the right side of the page.

The only problem with a "best sellers" list on someplace like DiscGolfCenter is that it's recent best sellers. Right now the #1 seller on DGC is the Wahoo, because it's brand new... but you can bet that won't last. But the next items on DGC's list are old discs, and truly popular: Buzzz, Valkyrie, Wraith, Boss, Destroyer, Sidewinder.
Like someone else said, sillybizz didn't put Sidewinder on his list, but it should definitely be on there.
And be sure to get a wide range of weights. Most people are better off with mid-160s than max weight, but you wouldn't know it by looking in some newbies' bags.

wow, not gonna be a beginner friendly store with that selection... understable discs are overlooked on this list. I also putt with an aviar but genuinely disagree that it is all you need.

Is the store already set to be Innova only??
If there's any chance of getting a run of Buzzes they're also up there with the most popular discs of the day.

Top 10 Innova drivers need to have a Beast on it, mid range needs a Spider on it.

I would think Innova could tell you what their most popular sellers are.
Also, you should consider who will be shopping at your store. If you are located next to a beginner friendly course you might have a lot of first timers in - stock mostly beginner friendly discs. If you are near a bomb range, stock mostly long range discs.

I think that Sillybizz and Jonesy are pretty much on with their suggestions, though the more selection you have, the better. If you want to sell Gateway, I think that their best product, and most popular, is their putters. Also, Gold Line from Lat 64 is so damn Sexy, it practically sells itself.
I'm also a big Discraft fan, so if a pro shop doesn't carry a halfway decent selection, then I usually don't make a lot of return trips to be honest. I have thrown and carry lots of Innova, but DC is really my bread and butter. I don't have any data on which DC sells the best, But I'll give my unsolicited and ill-informed opinion anyway.:D
Putter:
Challenger

APX

Buzzz
Buzzz SS
Comet
Meteor
Hornet

Avenger/ Avenger SS
Surge/ Surge SS

Predator
Stalker

I'm sure Scott Papa and Dion Arlyn have a good idea of what the top Discraft sellers are.
Also, I'll second Sean's comment that Gateway putters are excellent, and add that they are also very popular. Latitude 64 drivers (both Opto and Goldline plastics) also seem to be gaining in popularity due to the fantastic plastic, beautiful look of the discs, and the fact that many of them are just damn good flyers.
