Hey guys and gals, its here again. The annual hwy 9 invitational. Thats right folks, one round at beautiful Lake Stevens, with the baskets you all know and love, followed by a round out at wonderful Arlington. There will be 3 divisions, just like last year. Open, Masters and Amature. Cost will be $30 for Open and $25 for the other 2 divisions. So if you played last year, and want in again, now is your chance to sign up. The date is gonna be Saturday the 20th of November, so mark it on your calanders. Again anyone who played last year gets first dibs on playing this year. After that (about a week or so before the event) it will be open to all who want to play. So sign up now if you played last year. To sign up, contact Jesse Ingram at hamptonheros@gmail.com or you can send a check or money order to Jesse Ingram at 507 N 178th CT Shoreline Wa 98133. Hope to hear from you all soon. Big Bubba Belly

I can't make it tomorrow for the barking ~ but I should have some down time this next week ~ is there still an operating wheel barrow chained to the tree on #8? I have the combo.
Hey BigBubbBelly ~ will there be enough geezers for a Grand Masters Division?

Ok, so Im gonna try and get a barking party this saturday out at Arlington. Maybe around 11ish? Not quite sure on the time. I have to check my schedule. So anyone who is available, please come on out and help spread the love at Arlington, then stick around for a round or two of awesome golf. Supposed to be a nice weekend. Will update again this week and confirm the time. Thanks all.

Alrighty then, it looks like were gonna be doing a barking party this sunday around 1 p.m. Hopefully you guys can tear yourselves away from the disaster that is the seahawks of late and make it out to give us a hand. That would be awesome. Flyers will be posted at all of the north end local courses this weekend with info about the Hwy 9 Invite. Hope to see some people out there on sunday. After the work is done we will be playing a round of golf. Come on out and take all the old timers money. Hope to see you all there. Big Bubba Belly.

Hey Jesse,
Lake Stevens needs a little touch up on some tee boxes and some baskets. I can pick up the gravel, but since you are the TD I think you should be pushing the wheelbarrow. I am looking forward to watching that. Let me know which day may work for you and I will meet you out there.

Arlington Bark Report,
OK ~ I hit most of the long distance holes so you young guns don't have to push the wheelbarrow to far :wink2: ~ I did holes 3-4-11-15-16-17-18 ~
If possible I'll be out on Sunday.
And let me know what day for Lake Stevens and I'll be there ~ I think I owe BA a beer :chug:

Good job on the courses bros! Your hard work & dedication is greatly appreciated.
Due to the tournament sponsors & organizers unwilling to meet my Appearance Fee demands I will unfortunately be forced to skip this tournament.
Have a great tournament, I hope the weather holds out.
Take it easy on TD Jessie
Good luck to all!

Hey Now Jesse (no i)
I went out to Arlington this afternoon and did a bit more trail barking. I got the sloppy portion of the trail from 11 to 12 and then 16 to 17 and then the tail end of the path back out from 18 and then one of the handles on the wheelbarrow broke off......jub is going to do a repair job....not sure when.
Anyone planning to do any more barking will need a barrow. Not much left _ just the short trail from 15 to the main trail to 16 and 13 to 14.
some yahoo hicks out there drove a vehicle out onto the fairways of 14-15 and tore them up a bit - BIG ruts in a large circular pattern - Lordy!

I hit Lake Stevens in the pouring rain yesterday. The nasty wind storm we got on Monday did some damage. There are branches everywhere. If you play out there before Saturday, please help toss these off to the sides. Especially the ones around the baskets. We don't want the random limb to stop someone's good putt from rolling 40 feet away....
There is also a big cedar tree that snapped and is now laying across hole 13's white tee box. I plan to come out on Thursday to take care of it.
I will also be bringing a truckload of gravel out on Thursday afternoon. If anyone with a strong back and a wheel barrow can help...much appreciated.

I plan to be at LS by 3:00 pm. I will have one wheel barrow and a couple of shovels. If you get there early, fee free to walk the course and start clearing the fairways. It was pretty nasty yesterday with large limbs down.

I believe Jesse got about 30-40 pre-registrations. If the weather is nice, I expect around 60 or more people there.
I have the scorecards with me now, so if you want in let me know. I will write D Major with a sharpie on one so it can't be used for a J Stengeles, A Rivers, or T Little.
