Innova Contest

For those who aren't aware Innova is running a contest to become sponsored by them for 2011. Along with a cool pile of prizes you are also considered to be sponsored by them and are alloted $250 (originally posted $1000 which is wrong) for tournament entry fees. I'm not doing this for a cool pile of prizes. Other than probably a couple of shirts and hat to represent Innova the rest will most likely end up as CTP's or Raffle prizes in a tournament you are playing in. What winning this really does for me is give me an opportunity to play more tournaments and hopefully encourage or inspire others be part of this great sport. And maybe, just maybe set a good example on and off the course.

I voted thumbs up. I'm not sure it registered, as I seldom judge anything online deserving of any of my private data. If I have to be a Facebooker to have my vote count, then it never will.

I think this contest is a great idea, minus the facebook. I'm one of the 3 holdouts who haven't signed up, and I feel like it should be open to everyone, not just the golfers who can get the most votes on Facebook from people who don't even know them. I wish you the best of luck Bob, even though I don't know you. I just wish their was a way for the anti-social network folks to sign up. Ironically (sp?), I'm social networking right now....shit.

Innova Discs Official voting will start after the finalists are announced at USDGC. Right now users can express preference on entries. This will not be the only criteria used to determine the finalists. Finalists will also be judged on:
D- Discipline
I- Integrity
S- Self Respect
C- Character
G- Game
O- Originality
L- Luck
F- Fun

So the REAL voting will begin after the finalists are announced. The votes now will help (hopefully) get me into the Top Ten. :rockon:
