Are you looking for courses along the way or actually in/around DC?

Both but on the way are the urgent ones since were leaving thursday. Were going through Montana and probably the upper states on the way there taking the scenic route.

Play Blue Mountain in Missoula Montana for sure! Pattee Canyon is the other Missoula course and is fun too (its been there since 1979!), but Blue is the one not to miss.

Check out http://www.gardencityflyers.org/site/ for info on the Msla scene.

If you go through Billings Montana, Diamond X is a good one. Haven't played it since 2000 but it is still a sweet and very unique course.

Enjoy your trip and good luck finding some great courses along the way!

If you go through on 94 Dickinson ND, Lake Patterson is a must. Also Jamestown ND has a very nice 18 holer at the reservoir. If you plan on staying on 90 Jackson Park in Rapid City and Black Hills State University in Spearfish are good for the western side of SD... The Eastern Side of SoDak try Tut Hill (city park very well maintained) and Big Sioux Park (woodsy but best shape now... SD States on Sep. 11th) in Brandon.
