where to play near lake chelan

I go up to Chelan every summer but I don't know of any disc golf courses. I usually end up playing ball golf at Bear Mountain and taking a disc or two to throw off some of the huge elevation drops at the course!

There is an instep basket in a yard on the far, far north end of Lake Chelan. You have to take the ferry (only way to get there) to Stehekin and then the bus which goes from Stehekin to High Bridge trailhead.

Sheila and I did this earlier this year and were suprised to see a basket in the middle of nowhere :)

Rotary Park in Wenatchee is the closest I know of. It's about 35 miles from Chelan and just a nine hole easy course but it's well maintained and much better than nothin'!

Very easy course but pretty decent condition. Often have to deal with kids or families around the pavilion areas or the water fountains.

Dan, when will you be up in that area? I'll be there August 14th- 19th i believe. Mostly in Wenatchee but we'll go up to Chelan for a bit.

There is a course at a KOA right near Lake Chelan. Ok course, pretty small and mellow but water and some hazards make it worth while.
