the flyer you put up is that an old one ? because we just had our ace race at downriver and i got an overstable mid-range . and the vaule of all that is more like 67.00 not 55.00 plus this year they are given out key chains with the ace race logo ..2 discs a hat a mini a sticker AND A KEY CHAIN.. in all it was a fun run

yes it is just played ace race at hornings hide out this last weekend it was great and the disc is the bomb i got one ace in ace race but didnt win good luck ace racers

Even better then... I have not gotten the "confirmation" email from DC but they sent me stuff in the mail for the tournament just like last year. But nothing is wrong on the flyer, just there will be more stuff to be had by the players ehh...

The money raised from this event goes to help our USDGC first Deaf invited player have fun at USDGC! Plus raise money for course improvements which will happen in October, we have 4 alt pin placements planned for 2010.

The auger bit on the motor snapped in half while drilling, had to get a new one and drill holes late. Going to be at Taloali around 8am putting cement in the holes around the course then be out front of hole one at 9:30. The course is already set in the ace race format with the discraft flags marking the teepads, most of the holes are 150-180 feet. Expect 40+ players! Yahhhie... See y'all tomorrow..

I'm happy I didn't get shut out like the last ace race I played. I ended up with 1 ace and 2 metals. Not good enough to win, but it's better than getting a zero.:cheers:

Great time at my first Ace Race. Doubled my ace total for my DG career, up to four now. Loved the course and it was nice meeting everyone. Troy was happy to get his first metal hit!:dancing::trophy:

This was so much fun. I didn't have much cash and could only afford one, so I signed my 12 year old up. I figured this would be a great first time experience, and it was time I caddied for him. He was the only one to hit metal in our group, and man was it close to going in. He was super stoked and I couldn't have been happier. Thanks Nathan.

2 ace race discs - these are overstable mids that have nice glide to them, almost everyone I know has added these babies to their bag, I have too.
Ace race key chain with the swivel ace in the middle, actually very nice.

Will look up the weights, am sure I have almost all the weight groups left from 145-177+ but will check it out tonight...

4 alt pins been moved... as noted in the jerry miller dgc section...
Hole 2 is 110 feet longer
6 is a blind lefty route now
8 is 50 longer to the right for a straight lefty shot or slow turnover for righthanders at about 305 feet
hole 14 is 145 feet longer into the woods and now goes from the easiest hole to top 3 hardest holes.

Next spring, holes 1, 15 and 18 among others will get pro tee pads that will be 30-80 feet back from the current pads. Hopefully more people go to play over the next 8 months and money is raised to do all the projects we want to do in a timely manner so that 4 more alt pins go in next fall or even in the spring... GO PLAY THERE NOW ;)
