ORDGC -Volunteers needed September 18-19

As everyone knows a tournament doesn't just happen, it takes people to make it happen and so many of you have been so generous with your time in the past and I'd like ask again for your support. This is a great, unique event and the best players in the NW will be on display.

I just got off the phone with Jeff Hagerty and agreed to put together a crew for him to help make the ORDGC a great success that we can all be proud of.

What I need: 10 people for Saturday and 10 people for Sunday

You can volunteer for one day or both.

Jeff is in negotiations with Disc Van Go to shuttle volunteers only from a designated pick up spot in PDX, to make things easier for you. More information will follow as I get it.

Volunteer 1 full day=half of what the players get in their players pack. (I don't know what all that is but I do know it will be nice)

Volunteer 2 full days=a full players pack

It might be helpful to know which events remain where we can qualify. I am thinking about trying to qualify still but am concerned that it looks like I will have 0 opportunity to do that between Calapooia (I think) and Willamette Open (for certain). And then there is the last chance qualifier.

you goof! calapooia is the only qualifier left... then you have the last chance thingy... all this you would have known, my dear, by reading the ordgc thread where hagerty has kept us all very up to date... but i am happy to help anyway... ;)

The part of voluenteering I was looking forward to was a tourney disc of some sort (and of course the great warm fuzzy feeling that comes with volunteering right? ), for some reason I assumed the players pack only had 1 disc but I'm sure it has a non-full color disc too. Sweet looking forward to it!

Yes, there are also tourney discs... you know... the ones for throwing ;)
