It was a lot of fun and we got them there!
This year Tim needs our help again to represent Portland, OR at the United States Disc Golf Championship.:trophy:

Just noticed there is a Next Adventure Am event scheduled the same weekend. Unfortunately Timmy needs to stay with Saturday August 28th. Ams that want to play a sanctioned event that weekend should play the Next Adventure Am Championship. If not enough Ams show up to Tim's event then it will have to be a pro doubles and they will pair up the higher rated pros with which ever ams show up. I had no say in any of this scheduling stuff, it's Tim's event and I'm just helping getting it online and the word out.

I honestly don't think anyone's event in Portland is going to have any kind of a shortfall. I think they will all have a good turnout. With the last chance qualifier at Trojan on the 4th, there is plenty of golf lined up this summer.

Just noticed there is a Next Adventure Am event scheduled the same weekend. Tim is looking into changing it to Sept 4th or 5th to avoid conflicts. Looks like Sept 4th or 5th will work unless something else is reserved at Timber Park. If this goes ahead as planned, then Sept will me a MONSTER month of golf with the next weekend being Eugene Celebration, then OR dg championships, and then Willamette Open.

The 4th & 5th is also "Failure to Launch" in Bend AND Im pretty sure that A Rich is planning to do the Regional Match Play qualifier for the Players Cup at Dexter that weekend as well. :chinscratch:

OK just to clarify any confusion, Tim has informed me that he must keep it on the original date which is Sunday, August 28th at Timber Park. Unfortunately Next Adventure's Am Championship is the same weekend but I believe there are enough players to fill both events.

I had no say in any of the scheduling, and I'm just helping Tim get the world out and get info online. Don't mean to offend anyone or conflict with any one else's event but with so many events going on this summer it's almost impossible not to overlap with something else going on.

Looks like the N.A. Am event at Pier is filling up nicely and so is Timmy's event. Looks like a good turnout for both, so hope to see you there!
