Congrats to Dave and Melody for their first Mixed Pairs World Championship!
Amazing drives Dave... SPECTACULAR putting Melody.
I feel privileged to be able to say your clinics taught me the basics and gave my game the foundation it needed.
You two are great coaches and people.
Thank you so much for being awesome PDGA representatives and CONGRATS!
You deserve it!

Wow, Ulibarri and Locastro are battling hard in the fourth round at Lemon Lake Gold today. As I type, Nikko is looking for 10 birdies in a row, and Paul has hit 8 of the last 10.

I see 5 holes left...
I'm predicting a playoff...
Maybe even the first 3 way if Doss keeps his mental game.

again, thx for the info
So 6 rounds, semis, then finals?
How many go to Semi's and Finals?
I am a newbie to the sport, I don't mind asking.

I'm not for sure but I think the top 40% make the cut to the semi's.
Top 4 play in the finals.

Anthon now leads after carding a 45 this morning - 14 birdies and 4 pars. Outstanding!

Five players within 2 strokes.
Lead changes all over.
Feldberg is back in it.
This should be an exciting final.
I am sticking with my playoff forecast...
This tourney is awesome.

Only 4 will play in the Final 9. There will be a sudden death playoff if needed just like we had at Pro Worlds in 2007 that Feldberg and Anthon lost to Randolph.

I'm rooting for a 3 way tie for 1st and a 5 way tie for 4th with the sudden death for 4th going 10+ holes! Then a sudden death for the championship after the finals for 6+ holes. That would be EPIC! Just as the sun sets, a champion is crowned... The DVD would sell!

I'm watching Live Scoring for the World's final round and Tim Keith (Grandmasters) hit an ace on his 3rd hole! How sweet is that! After starting the round 7 strokes behind the leader, he is now only 3 behind after the first 4 holes!

The PDGA Board says this is a 375 foot hole too! I hope they caught it on film!

How about Dr. Rick Voakes (http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=9551&year=2010&include_ratings=1#Senior%20Grandmasters), Senior Grandmaster, # 2632, shooting 5 out of 6 rounds 1000 RATED! Wow, what an inspiration!
(PS: That's how you hyperlink folks to the pertinent stats you are raving about ;) )

Dr. Voakes played Open at the 2009 Memorial with 2 Deaf pros during the 1st round and he had this little weenie bag with less than 10 discs and still scored a 1000 rated round... crazy...

Eric McCabe is a really down to earth cool guy. I've talked with him at worlds and BSF's in the past. I'm really glad he took it down.
Congratulations to Nate Sexton and Kirk McAllister for solid cash finishes at Worlds.
