I was watching a new show on Syfy called "Fact or Faked, Paranormal Files" where "investigators" review videos of supposed paranormal activity and then go out to prove or dis-prove the images. The second episode called "Unwanted Visitors/Strange Sightings" featured a weird looking creature captured on a security cam in Fresno. As part of their "investigations" the crew went out to a "wooded area" nearby to see if there were any weird animals wandering around at night. The crew wandered around with IR cameras filming anything that sounded weird or moved in the night. Watching intently (because I want to believe - do you hear me Mulder and Scully?) I noticed these weird things in the woods, Innova Disc Catchers. They were on a disc golf course in Fresno. As soon as I realized where they were, they started filming ghostly IR heat sources near a basket moving. I think they were disc golfers playing a little night golf, it even looked like someone bending to pick up a disc. Then again it might of been disc golfing ghosts. You decide. I laughed and laughed and finally turned the show off and went out to play a round at Dexter. In broad daylight.
Here is a link to the show if you're curious.

I was totally thinking the same thing!

After seeing the baskets in the first few clips I figured there might be some night golf going on. Then when "camera 3" was hit by a falling object and fell to the ground I thought a disc probably hit the tripod and toppled it. And by the time the investigators get to the camera, the player had already picked up their disc and moved on.

Honestly, how could they investigate this "wooded area" knowing it was a disc golf course which is used by people all day long and not figure that just MAYBE some players were out on the course at night? As if they could be the only people out there. Fail.

Haha, just watched the episode. That is too funny. Glo Golf Caught on tape, haha.

As far as the creatures go, I thought their pulley re-creation was fairly convincing, although they were downplaying all the similarities on the show.

There is no doubt in my mind that the footage shot at the disc golf course was in fact, disc golfers...

That was a pretty ridiculous show.

I just wish people would stop watching all these ghost/paranormal shows so that they'd stop being made. It's clogging up my cable tellebission! I'm trying to find Star Trek TNG reruns, yo!

Dudes, don't joke about this stuff! It is probably real crap going on!

Just a couple of weeks ago I was playing at the heavily wooded Arlington disc golf course and I heard a very disturbing noise. There were branches snapping, trees shaking, and blackberry vines were actually parting.

Just when I was grabbing my bag and getting ready to run full speed out of that course, Thomas (sillybizz) appeared. I guess he was looking for another of his crappy discrafts he launched. I seriously thought it was the ghost of bigfoot...even after I saw it was Thomas!

Well it is easy to mistake thomas for an albino sasquatch BA so don't worry about it. I just hope nobody tries to shoot at him in Arlington...you know they are all trigger happy up there.

Not safe in Oregon either, "Jesse's got a gun!"

Seriously, Siebel won it in a raffle at the Whistlin' Discs Shootout!

If I was a peacock I would be the albino one that squawks at you if you get too close at Horning's Hideout except that I like you as close to me as possible. mmmmmmmm

Obviously they were Disc golf course gnomes. They are downright impossible to see without using pscilosybin as bait. Be careful though because once you see them it can be hard to make them go away. They may even follow you home if you use to much bait
