I noticed some signs at Dexter for this event, they are also having a C tier event the same weekend. Great for the course (as long as who ever is putting it on is working with the club)

On a side note:
Whoever put up the signs in the Dexter kiosk tore down other signs to do so. There was plenty of room in the board and they pulled down some lost and found signs. I noticed the new signs after my round and thought they had just put the new sign over the old ones, so I was going to swap things around so they would all fit. that is when I noticed they had removed the old signs. I looked in the trash and sure enough, they had crumpled them up and threw them away.
I pulled them out and put them back, hesitated and placed the ace race and tournament signs back in the box as well.

If anyone knows these folks, please remind them that this is a shared resource and it pays to be respectful ....

Yeah I don't know them at all and heard that from a few others..Them out of towners, geezz.
Yeah I'm not sure I have the cash to play in both, but the acerace should be pretty fun.

I think this shows a lack of respect for the locals. I'm wondering why we should support this event?

I have no inside knowledge or much interest in the event one way or another but the organizer did post more info on the dgrus Cottage grove club page and can probably be contacted there.

Strange Disc Sports has nothing but respect for Oregon Disc Golf, the players and courses. While I apologize for the actions of one person whom we had post flyers for us, I am in South Carolina and had no idea that one particular individual would do that. Next time I have someone in Oregon post flyers for us, perhaps we can turn to you guys to help out. I hope there are no hard feelings and I hope that y'all understand that I did not condone that action...and I hope that you'll open your mind to what I've said. We are in this sport to grow the sport and make friends, not to make enemies. We are traveling 2,700 miles to throw down some great events at Cottage Grove and hope to see some of you there!

Respectfully Strange,

Thanks for this information. According to the Agreement that I signed with the State Parks Department----the Dexter kiosk is for Eugene Disc Golf Club business only. Anyone who would like to post disc golf related information on the kiosk needs to contact me or any of the other officers to gain permission.
Thanks Dave for letting me know.

Rebecca, will my flyers be taken down? If so, can I get info on where they can be picked up so that I can have them posted elsewhere? Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks in advance.
