During the last chainbangers ace-pot,held at both Lakewood & Sea-tac,there was a very unfortunate accident at Sea-Tac. In broad daylight across from the BMX track, April Little was playing a round of disc golf while some douche nozzle broke her passenger side window and stole some of her things from her car. I noticed the glass on the sidewalk as I was dropping off my bag and I was kind of hoping that It was just a wild throw from #2 (just cause I got a hold of one earlier & ended up about 10 feet from that exact spot) but much to my dismay it was In fact a petty jackass thief. I feel the least I could do is head up a donation jar at the shop to help her recover those things, some of which are irreplaceable.
So I will be donating some of the CDGC (chainbangers disc golf club) money to start it off as well as some of my own money. I think that is the point of ,at least this club, we as a club look out for other club members. We got your back, and if we have the money to do so, we help those in need. Yeah it would be great to catch this twerp and teach him a lesson, but until then If you feel generous and are able please help out. You can either stop by the shop next time your in the neighborhood,swing by and drop some $ in the jar. Or if you live far away, feel free to go to: www.discoveringopenspaces.com
and there is a safe secure way to donate $ online. If you look to your right of that website you will see where it says " donations gladly accepted" just click on that and follow directions. If you go that route, please e-mail me and let me know you did so, so I can make sure the money goes to where it was intended.

I know some people may grumble about this and question my actions because many other disc golfers have been in the same predicament if not worse than April. Well this particular incident happened during a chainbangers event that I was running and that I happened to be there to witness first hand how lame of a situation this was and how undeserving of a person that this happened to.So until we get the surveillance cameras installed or happen to catch these lame asses.
