This is a post from Pat Sullivan:
After so many volunteer hours. What I need from you is a simple email. gm@sudden valley.com is the address. Please send him a note saying closing the course would be a HUGE mistake!!!! Anything helps, from anywhere. East coast, west coast, foreign countries, please help. I will be there Monday morning at the gate to try to stop any destruction that may take place.
So send off a quick email lets keep a course in the ground. :yay::rockon:

"Well, the general manager has decided to pull the plug on the course for no true reasoning except for the fact that it is a free activity and he cannot figure out how to generate revenue from it. The Whatcom Disc Golf Course has risen this course from the brush and weeds at no expense to the general manger or Sudden Valley Resort. He is thinking of closing the course!!!!!"
Bellingham area from a quick google search.

Mossy Roc is going away?! That course is awesome and has tons of potential! They have been running events up there for a long time I thought they were making some money for the course up there?
I'm sending an email.

Pat,
Sorry to hear about the potential loss of Mossy Roc... it's a super fun course to play, and you guys have put a ton of work into making it one of Washington's best courses. A big group of us planned to come up later this summer for our annual camping/Mossy Roc trip. I know a ton of folks here in Seattle that will be super bummed if anything happened to the course. Could you give us a few more details and some direction as to what you'd like people to say in their e-mails(in defense of the course remaining vs. ?), other than we'd drive several hours north just to play Mossy Roc, and that in itself helps out local businesses/economy...
I'll pass along your message and the e-mail address to as many as I can in the next few days...
is there an individual or group that we should be addressing our e-mails? Hope all goes well!

<< If someone has Pat's contact info. could they please forward this message to him? Or ask him to join the forum in order to organize the rescue mission... perhaps a group of disc golfers could show up to show support of the course remaining... a "non-violent throtest"?>>

Under what reasoning do they want to close the course? Is it just that they believe it isn't used much? Because that is the only reason that emails would help the situation. If they plan on selling the property, there is no amount of emails that will stop it.
